My question is. Has anyone come accross the issue of the lower lights on the ICC not working ? Aswell as the window switches
But have also noticed that the gear shifter lights stay on when the lights are off but will switch off when there on ? But the P is lit up

Selector cable often break where it connects to the transmission. If it was in drive when broke that's why it won't start.

my ICC unit has gone crazy 2009 xr6 fg. climate control switches not working--all. A/C ON / A/C OFF on screen permanently. comfort selectors not working. no temp. on screen and no outside temp. on screen. Bottom half switches are working--radio fine. blower fan works when tested but not when switch is used. A/C working as cold air is coming out at a low level from the air vents----- any thoughts would be much appreciated, please.

I don't know about fg but my ba. The air con module doesn't work and the fan stayed on full, even with the ignition off. I would say you'll need to replace the air/con module in the dash.which will be expensive .
I had 9 years trouble free running with the 2009 FG XR6 but 2022 was the breakdown year for me. Car shut down, wouldn`t start--after 3 weeks at an auto electrical shop, finally diagnosed a faulty cluster unit, replaced, then Ford did their tricks and started up ever since, centre bearing clagged out, replaced, now ICC Unit is playing up as described above. Got round this problem by wiring into the blower motor wiring and putting in a 50amp toggle switch-- now we have air conditioning working but fan blows at full speed--only used when temperature is high but temporary fix only. will be replacing ICC UNIT in the near future but when that happens, Ford rears its ugly head again by having to tune the unit in to my cars electrics--happy days--whats next after that.

my ICC unit has problems. climate control lcd low series .a/c on / ac/ off is on all the time on screen. no switches work on airspeed or on heater, comfort selectors not working.. working items are radio/cd, clock. Blower motor when tested still operational but switches not working---???? help please.

Hay guys I have a 2002 ba XR6 . Auto
She starts fine also gose into all the gears with no problems can drive but when I first brought had to put a fair bit or gear box oil in her . Owned her for two years now and had to put a fair bit in her again . She's now finding it hard to change into gear it will do it and then five seconds later won't . Just trying to work out what the problem would any information would be gratefully accepted. Cheers

Could be many causes. I would change the fluid and filter. If still a problem could be a soleniod hard to tell. Take it to a transmission specialist.

How long is the lifetime of a transmission? Usually till the warranty runs out. If you plan to keep the car for a long time. Change the fluid it's cheaper than a rebuild .

Hi I have a 2003 xr8 boss 260 I have a fuel pump reset light displaying on the right hand side of my dash (fuel pump with a line crossed through it) car won't start but turns over. Iv tried using an obd2 and it fails to read/connect with car help please

On the passengers side. Remove the kick panel on the side under the glove box. This is the fuel pumps cut off valve in the event of a collision. Push the reset button. Turn the ignition key to on position. Pause for a few seconds and then turn off.do not start engine.check for fuel leaks. Engine should start now.
Thank you very much, I'd had the whole dash and loom out as car was parked up for 5 years and rats decided to habitat the dash I'm guessing all the unplugging etc would of engaged it. Cheers for your help greatly appreciated thanks

What do you mean, "dump in the rear wheels." Are the tyres rubbing when you put a load in the back. Springs may be worn.

Unfortutately this problem is common.I had an AU and the odometer went completely out.The only way to fix is to take the instrument cluster out and send to someone who can repare it.Or find an old one at the wreckers.But chances are it won't last. Cost to repare is not worth it. Just live with it.

Hi, i know this has been going for some time, but iam an old lady with a BA futura falcon mrk 2, have had lpg for some time but now it wont give gas to the 5th cylinder, i have been to 3 different lpg dealers and 3 different answers, i am getting the run a round and i know because i am a woman, the last thing i received was i needed a new computer, the conversion is now about 12 years old which means they wont fit a computer till the tank has been checked, i am ok with that, but confused on what is actually wrong with this car, is it possible the computer can be reset, if its gone out of sink, i work with computers but not car ones, so iam in the dark, so far iam up for a computer and a tank check which totals about 2 thousand dollars, i am only on a pension but to run around in a 6 cylinder car is costing me the earth, any help please please ps its a 2005 model with 174 thou on the clock, brand new spark plugs done, the most expensive ones were fitted lol runs well on petrol, the car is in good condition.

If it runs ok on petrol then it's not your computer. Take it to someone who specializes in lpg. It can not just not deliver gas to number 5, if it runs ok on petrol. It maybe some electronic module with the lpg system.
