This water tastes pretty dangerous to me.

published

I bought the 10 lL 'happy camper' pack this week. The water drizzles out so slowly I had to open the cap- bypassing the purpose of the pack. More importantly, when you get down to the 3 l mark a very strong- VERY STRONG taste of chemicals and plastics permeates the water. I actually am going to take this back to coles and have them drink some so they can judge for themselves- I think a recall is in order- it's that bad! In the past I have had trouble with this company- the lids leak when you store them on their side (on the smaller 3L bottles) also. I have been avoiding this brand when possible.

Not as good as others.

published

This isn't very good, doesn't taste nearly as good as most colas or juices, or milk drinks, or really anything. Decent price for water and taste ok compared to other waters, but compared to other drinks it's far worse. If you are thinking of buying this water consider a nice Coca-Cola® branded beverage instead.

AWFUL!!!

published

Tastes awful. Would like to see an analysis of it. States it is Australian spring water but that doesn't really mean anything. Where is the spring located? In highly fracked areas by the taste of it!!!

10 litres of The Happy Camper - tastes disgusting

published

What the heck is the strong chemical taste. Brand new bottle, never purchased this brand before and won't buy again. Tastes like turpentine.

Nice & not hard to open at all.

published

Wow, I can't understand the negative comments. What is so hard about opening, unless you have a crippled hand? Taste is way better than the Coles or Woolworths brand.

How hard can you make it?!

published

Bought a pack of Frantelle 'The Active One' 6 x 750ml bottles.
I pride myself on being reasonably intelligent and certainly up for a challenge but ... opening these bottles? You have to be joking! Having taken to the stopper flip up lid thing with a knife to force it open the water does taste fine but I will never buy again due to the difficulty I had in opening the lid/s!

Frantelle? More like, Can't-tell

published

This doesn't taste fresh. Or pure. They claim they are the "perfect traveller" but I bet because it travelled to so many places it tastes like garbage in the end.

Bad water. Wouldn't buy it again.

Wont buy again!

These bottle are impossible to open, not a nice taste either.
Will spend the extra $$ to get water that I can actually open and be satisfied with.

Horrible

published

This water tastes disgusting. Took it camping with us, thought I'd picked up a bug. Until I opened another bottle tonight since we've got home and got an upset belly again. Not sure if I got a bad batch or not but every time i take a mouthful i have to run to the toilet. I don't write reviews, but since it happened again tonight i thought I'd google it. So i won't be drinking this again.

Ridiculously tight screw top

published

The screw top on the 600 ml bottles almost impossible to open. Certainly won't buy this brand again. Even my husband who usually manages to open just about anything has to struggle with it. For me I would dehydrate before I could get to drink the water.

Disgusting chlorine taste when water is boiled

published

This water tastes ok as long as it's not boiled. Found that the reaction when boiling tarnished the water and the kettle and took several cleanses with water and vinegar boiled in the kettle to remove the taste.

Impotable!!

I bought the 15 litre container and that proved to be a big mistake. Could not believe the strong taste of iron. I wouldn't drink it if it were free.
