The planes have single seats. A snack box is left on the seat for you. Drinks are served in the lounge before takeoff and are complimentary. The co-pilot demonstrates the safety equipment on board. The pilot and co-pilot are the only crew and they are visible for the whole flight. There are no queues, no busy busy stewards and no fuss. I have flown a lot over a 50 year period, and I have never had such an easy and pleasant flight as with this airline. The staff (all three) were just lovely. I fly a lot from Wynyard to Melbourne and can't wait to go again with Free Spirit. The only drawback may be cost, but if you can snap up their specials you can't do better.
