I'm a little concerned with the gap in the connection to the burner. Doesn't gas escape from there? Not game to try it until I find out

I have just bought a gasmate voyager and assembled it. Having folleed step 5 - 'attach the gas valve assembly ensuring the injector is located into the burner tube....' there is a square hole where the injector pushed into the burner tube sleeve. Should this be there (for an air mix) or is there a piece missing which would result is gas escaping ?
The square holes match up exactly and you can aee straight through .
I would attach a photo but cant find an option for that.
Youre help would be appreciated.

Gavylad everything was in the box. It was very straight forward. Just followed the instructions. For further assistance there's a decent unpack utube video you can watch. Good luck.

You can easily fit 22 sausages on one half of the bbq. Just ordinary 13cm long ones from supermarket. They sit in the ribbed plate beautifully. Enjoy your snags!!

Hi, there was no bag supplied with my Voyager BBQ. There may/may not be a bag available as a separate purchase but a bag did not come in the box.

Apparently it fits in the Oztrail Medium Duffel bag (60x30x30) - confirmed by staff posts on the Snowys website, who actually test fitted it into a bag.
