Just Love it!
This iron heats up fast, is easy to use, has various temps and the cord is long. Having an extra long cord comes in real handy. A fantastic product all round!

Burnt my hairs
This is the worst straightener ever.I have used this only twice in 3 months.I followed all the instructions, used heat protectant even though it claims that is not required. This straightener was only capable of burning and breaking my hairs when I used it for first time...Now I have loads of flyaways in my crown area, caused by hair breakage.
I gave it a go again last week just to make sure if I didnt make any mistakes when I used it before.I badly wanted to love this product as it was bit expensive for me.But it disappointed me again.I can ...Read more
never use it again and I cannot afford any other straightener now. I bought this straightener after reading good reviews on the internet. Most of the reviews were positive. I regret choosing this over GHD.so my word of caution for everyone with thin hairs, please stay away from this. I would love to return my straightener back if they would accept and refund my money.

Thank you for your reply.I straighten smaller sections of my hair each time, but I have the model GP501.Do you reckon that might be the issue?Do you recommend me to straighten a bit thicker section of hair as I am using GP501?

Yes we would recommend 1.5 inch sectioning with trying different heat settings as every hair is different. Make sure you hair is dry and go over it slowly so the Healing Stone can "treat" the hair. If... Read more

Useless piece of crap!!!
My Glam Palm has just started continuously beeping and doesn't even heat up. So not impressed, it only cost an arm and a leg and breakdown after a year #annoyed.

awesome iron..although unlucky
I recieved my glampalm this year in feb, it was the best gift ever! It really transformed my damaged hair into beautiful soft, silky hair and i would not trade it for anything else the only problem is that after abt 5months the iron just stopped working one day. I had it returned and i was given a brand new iron but after 2 months its happened again and this its coming on and just making noise and going off! I really like this iron dont know why this is happening though

Amazing & Irreplaceble
After my trusty GHD broke after 7years, I decided to stick to what I know. Got myself a GHD Eclipse, biggest mistake ever, it broke after only a year. Then I decided to bite the bullet and purchase a Glampalm solely based on all the amazing reviews on the web. I have not regretted it one bit, my hair has never been this soft and beautiful in ages. The best advice I could give to any1 in a rut about getting a new flat iron is invest in a Glampalm, it'll be the best decision you could ever make for your hair!

Great straightener
I took a leap of faith buying this straightener as there are so few reviews online. When it arrived I tried it out with a bit of trepidation that I had wasted my money. I have thick hair and since my old wide plate silver bullet straightened its last hair about 5 years ago I have purchased two straighteners neither of which did any good. However, with the glam palm i am finally back in business. My hair looks good after straightening but the best part is it is quick to straighten and it lasts several days. It does not seem to damage my hair and...Read more
it achieves these results at 190C whereas my old straightener was at 230C. All in all so far I am very happy with my purchase. Plus it comes with a two year warranty so if anything does go wrong I should be covered for a while yet!Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Amazing!!!!
I had a GHD for 7 years and it took me ages to decide what to get as everyone had different opinions (going to the hairdressers made it even harder to decide) and no one had heard of the glampalm despite all the raving reviews. I have really thick, frizzy, curly hair and the glampalm makes/keeps my hair to straight and shiny and I don't use heat protector. It's definately a winner!

Totally Awesome!!!
I am super happy with my GlamPalm I have been through 2 pairs of GHD's and 1 pair of Cloud Nines. My cloud nines had only just broke and was in need of a new pair but didn't want to pay $350 for another. I love the how the GlamPalm make my hair feel and look and the fact that I don't have to use any heat protector product. I have super thick bushy hair and these tame my do, not many things can do that to my hair. I was also hesitant at first to buy these online as it is really hard to find really good hair straightener but I have had no regrets...Read more
to date, the service was perfect and super fast delivery. Ordered on Saturday in Aus and delivered to me in NZ on Tuesday that's faster then a service within my own country . I highly recommend for first time buyers I only wish these were around earlier I would have saved myself some cash the price and the results it gives it's hard to believe these sell for this much I have an issue with warranties and would have liked for these to be covered for a longer period it's always hard to know when you buy a new product and there isnt many reviews to say how long they actually last, I believe top dollar should pay for a good qaulity product and if they say they are as good as they are the warranty should be for 4-5yrs atleast I1 comment

Life changing!
I was hesitant to try the glampalm. I found little info online other than glowing reviews. But my old GHD was in need of replacing. Decided to bite the bullet and give this a go.
Holy Moley. So glad that I did.
My hair is super thick, long, and curly. Using my GHD would take about an hour and a half to straighten. With the GlamPalm, I was done in 25 minutes. It's amazing.
It doesn't seem to catch on my hair the way the GHD did. It glides through smoothly. I ordered from the glampalm Australia website and received my straightener in 2 days.

Great Product - has not damaged my hair
I just bought this a month ago after doing a load of research and saying goodbye to my faithful Muster which lasted me over 10 years. This straightener is easy to use on my thick, coarse wavy/curly hair and does not damage it. It has a heat setting that doesn't overheat (very common amongst the new breed of straighteners) and heats up in seconds. I cannot fault this product. Far better than a GHD I borrowed from a friend when my old straightener died.
Reliable, easy to use, does not damage hair.

Best hair straightener I have used.
Like others, I was disillusioned with the new GHD which was no better than cheaper models like Vidal Sassoon and Remington. After online reviews I decided that the glampalm would be my next hair iron. Boy am I glad I did. This is the best straightener I have ever used. I have long, thick, course, wavy and hard to manage hair, but the glampalm 501 with its wide plates tamed my hair in ten minutes. Best result I have ever been able to achieve without a hairdresser. Well worth the price. Great product.
Nice wide plates, heats up quickly, variable heat settings, great presentation in box and clutch.
Nothing. Wish it had been invented years ago.

Glampalm 501
I purchased this straightener after returning a brand new GHD that's performance was so disappointing. They are nothing like my original bought 8 yrs ago. So GlamPalm was bought after much research. I couldn't find any bad reviews although it's only relatively new to Aus. Anyway, I am impressed with the packaging, smart box with a gorgeous little clutch to store with bonus clips etc. I am very happy with the results of glampalm, leaves my hair feeling smooth & straight & healthy. I'm glad I got the wide plate one also as it did my thick, long h...Read more

I’m tossing up between clinic or the wide plate, I have long thick hair. I normally use hair mask and do keratin treatment. Also can you use the wide plate to damp hair or does it have to be really blow dried?

I have medium length thick hair with frizz. I had an original GHD for 9 years but now needs to be replaced. Im after a model that keeps the frizz out all day and takes 1-2 passes through the hair to straighten but wont fry the ends. What model do you recommend?
1 answer
I'd recommend the GP 501, it has 11 heat settings so you can adjust the heat. This is the one I have and I love it. It doesn't fry the ends however I always use a heat protection product ( I use de Lorenzo thermal treatment and Argan oil) and regular hair cuts or trims. But I swear by GlamPalm hair straighteners. You will love it. As has been mentioned before section into 1.5 cms lots and start with the middle setting, if you find it too hot, turn it down or if you need turn it up, but only one temp setting at a time.

Hi,
I have long straight hair but I regularly like to curl and wave my hair when I go out or straighten small sections if it gets lumpy. What model do you recommend for me?
Also, does the healing technology result in any oiliness?
1 answer
GlamPalm A.GlamPalm
Hi there,
We would recommend the GP501 is you like big curls or GP201 if you like tighter curls (ringlets). The Healing Stone Technology does not result in any oiliness but leaves the hair silky and smooth.

We regret to read you are not enjoying your GlamPalm. ... Read more
GlamPalm comes with 11 heat settings so we would suggest to lower the temperature. As the max. heat setting is 200 degrees it is almost impossible to burn the hair as the cuticle layer of the hair only closes at 200 degrees. Make sure you dry your hair completely. if you straighten you hair when the hair is still moist the cuticle is still open and that will allow the heat to penetrate into the hair which will give you that dry feeling an fly aways. As we used to manufacture the ghd from 2001-2008 we have confidence in our product. Please contact us if you need some more tricks and tips! Kindest regards,
