These are so good for winter. Before buying these I struggled with wraps that didn't matter how tight I wrapped them I would go into find my sons arms out of them. These stopped me from worrying so much about the blankets in my sons bed especially since he was continually trying to get loose. I also found my son woke less during winter once we started putting him in these. He was getting cold during the night but being a first time mum I was unsure about how warmly to dress him.
Fantastic for night time feeds during winter as they stop the little one from getting cold
Nothing to dislike

Really happy with the quality. They helped keep our baby warm even in our very cold winters. I breathed easy knowing there were no blankets to go over baby's head. I was very impressed with the quality of this product. They are made to last.
I love how warm they kept baby at night. There was no fear of baby getting sheets or blankets over their head. Nice designs. Sizing was good. They washed really well. Dried quickly on line.
I found it hard to get designs that were not distinctly girl or boy orientated. I like to buy products I can hand down to save waste

Helps baby sleeps longer as she is warm and comfortable. Definitely one of the best product I have brought for my baby.
Has different sizes, togs and designs to suit age, whether and sex. Genorous sizing compares to other brand. Extra features like zip cover to stop baby from undoing zip, zip guard under chin, press studs under arms for smaller baby...Washes really well and drys in no time. Can be tumble dried. The resale value is good too.
Would like to see more unisex designs so do not need to buy new ones for next baby. Pricey but you get what you paid for.

I love Grobags. I have a cheaper brand but have hardly used it as I feel more comfortable using the Grobag brand. My baby loves sleeping in it and I will certainly be buying more as he grows out of his current one, even though they are expensive initially.
Looks great with a great range of patterns for boys and girls. Excellent safety standard and quality of the fabric is excellent. Loved the thermometer it came with, easy to know how to dress the baby. Love the different togs, again easy to know how to dress the baby for the temperature.
Price, although I only paid half price on sale.

I have all up had 8 bags so far in all togs and sizes, my baby is now into size 18-36 month, I did also try a couple of the Mamas and Papas Dreampod which are also quite good but not as generous in size and only five or so dollars cheaper, so for me they were not worth it and I have gone back to Grobags. They have become such a great sleep association with my baby, when she was smaller as soon as I put her arms into her bag she went floppy and completly relaxed as she knew it meant sleep time and would go straight to sleep when she was put in t...Read more
he cot. Now she is usually quite happy to go into her bag and if she is tired will pull it onto the floor and try to put it on. I tried cheaper ones for my 1st baby but found that I was constantly haveing to buy the next size and never knew if my baby was too hot or cold. Generous sizing, even with a 90th percintile (length) baby have got the full age recomendation out of them. Great Quality product, wash up well time and time again. Love that they come with a thermometre and dressing reccomendations for the temperature so you always know what to put on baby for them to be the right temperature. None, maybe a bit costly to start with.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Grobags are quite expensive initially, but wash and wear extremely well. I have numerous grobags in various sizes and TOGs to suit age, size and weather - they are now being used by bub number 2 and will definately be passed on for others to use.
Grobags also became a nnig part of our bedtime ritual and were/are a sleep queue for my kids. They know when the grobag is on that it is time for sleep.
Plenty of great designs and styles
Highly recommended!
Keeps bub/toddler warm even when the squirm out of blankets. Plenty of different TOGs available to suit any climate
Always close the zips up (as the instructions state) when washing and drying....2 of my zip tags got caught and fell off)

Whilst the grobag is probably the most expensive on the market, I think it is worth it for the quality and safety. Whilst pricey, it is good value for something that is used for up to 12 hours every night for 6-12 months! That said, they often go on sale, particularly when the designs are discontinued.
I prefer the grobag to cheaper imitations because it has things like the zip is not easy for a child to undo, zipper guards, press studs under arms for babies and is made with good quality material etc. I recommended this to many mothers wh...Read more
o all say it helped their baby sleep longer during night because they are warm. I have used for both children and never had any quality problems with stitching, broken zippers or material fading. Highly recommend. Keeps baby warm as unable to kick off blankets. Many fun designs, including unisex ones. Comes in different thicknesses for summer and winter. Has a travel grobag so can put seatbelt through easily. Well made, easy to wash, safe to use as recommended by Sids and kids. Has a zipper guard so zip does not hurt baby. Has press studs underarms to prevent little babies falling into sleeping bag. They come with a little thermometer that helps you tell what to dress baby in to keep him at the right temperature.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Love the grobags I used a 0.5 in summer/autum and 2.5 in winter. I love the travel ones as when we get home late we put our daughter straight to bed with no fuss. Well worth the money. We only had one for each season as they were easy to wash and dry.
Knowing my baby is safe and warm (not too warm. Travel friendly - suits 5-point harness
Price but I always try to look out for the sales like end of season & discontinued styles. David Jones a good place to buy

Grobag would have to be my favourite baby item. With two children, the initial price has been well worth it. I have used lighter weight grobags for summer, warmer for winter and a combination of both during day and night sleeps. I have never had any problems with the zips, fabric or stitching. The grobag washes very well. The grobag has helped with the sleep routine for young children, only had a small problem with my first child who wanted to stay in her sleeping bag when she had outgrown it and we wanted to use sheets and blankets.
Keeps baby covered all night, different warmth's mean that you can use them all year round.
transition from bag to normal sheets and covers can be difficult if child gets attached to the sleeping bag

well constructed. I bought only one of these mostly because of the price. I bought a winter one that is 2.5 tog and it keeps my baby warm and also helps keep her less mobile while in her cot - makes for a more settled sleep. Not sure if I would by another one - there are cheaper options out there that do exactly the same things as this one.
good quality, keeps baby warm and zip is nice and secure.
expensive. sometimes hard to get babies arms through the arm holes - other brands have snaps on the shoulders to make things easier.

Overall a great product with a huge ranges of colours and textures. As I mentioned my preference is for the jersey material. Do look out for sales, both online and in stores as you can save up to 30% sometime more. Also, don't be afraid to buy out of season and put away for the next size/ season.
Both of my children have slept better as babies when using these! Fantastic product. The jersey material ones are the best, as they are softer and have the sholder clips in most sizes (rather than the zip through the middle). They don't overheat ...Read more

I love this item.
One of the best items I purchased for my son, finally an item that does what it says it will, expensive but worth every cent, I wouldn't even bother with the cheaper versions out there.
With the help of the handy little thermometer I know what to dress my son in.
I don't have to worry about him getting all caught up in the blankets or pulling them over his face. With the grobag I know he is comfortable he sleeps 12 hours so he must be.
I only had one in the smaller size but now that my son is in the next size I have purcha...Read more

GREAT, GREAT, GREAT! You can buy more expensive versions of the Grobag (or cheaper) but I think these are a fantastic, must-have item for sleeping - especially if your baby is a wriggler and ends up cold and out of the blankets.
They are a PERFECT solution for a baby that likes to kick their covers off! They are 100% cotton for those with sweaty bubs, are easy to put on, come in a range of weights for different seasons/ temperatures and are comfortable for baby (well, mine's yet to complain!). They also help prevent baby from standing in the cot. The thermometer was a handy inclusion also.
Price if you buy new, but eBay is great for good seconds.

I only wish I had found out about these bags earlier. They are pricey but if you get them on eBay you can save quite a bit (just make sure they are genuine grobags). They are a great way of keeping baby warm and cosy especially if your bub tends to escape from wraps and sheets. They come in a variety of warmth ratings so no matter what the temp, there is a bag to suit.
Our baby likes to sleep with his arms out so the bags are a lifesaver for us as now we don't worry about him getting cold or suffocating under sheets when he moves.

I think this is a fantastic product. I have used it for my baby from when he was 5-6 weeks old to now & he is almost 7 months. He hated being wrapped & it was extremely hard to keep him warm so I tried the Grobag & haven't looked back. I recommend this product to every parent. I'm on my way to buy another 2-3 bags.
Keeps baby warm all night, especially for those wriggly babies.
Sizing is perfect.
Easy to put on & take off.
I didn't have any trouble changing bub's nappy through the night while he was wearing it.

Good quality sleeping bags in a good range of designs. The only negative is the price, but they do seem to sell very well second hand too so figured I'd get some money back at the end of use. They last forever. I love the fact that they provide you with the thermometer and a guide as to what your baby should wear to sleep under the grobag, it provides me with of mind I am actually doing the right thing. There'd be nothing worse than overheating baby or having him too cold. I would recommend the gro-bag, I think it's a great product. I wouldn't try alternatives, as I did, I just wasted my money. I wish someone recommended them to me when bub was born.

Good for when my baby was little (up to 9 months), but then he got too big and would get out of it! Quite fiddly if I had to change his nappy in the night also!
Keeps baby at a sertain temperature, stops baby getting cold, stops baby from standing up in cot
costly, not great for big babies

We got our first Grobag (2.5 TOG) as a gift, from a reltive who had raved & raved about how good they are. My husband & I were not convinced thinking they were just another over-priced baby gimmick. However, after trying this through our first winter we realised what all the hype was about. I then got another 1.0 TOG one when it was discounted by $20. In our opinion these are very good but the fact they are such a rip off for what they are made of (material, lining & a long zipper). Of course the innovation of the Grobag is great but they ...Read more
shouldn't cost more than $50. Considering you will need at least two Grobags to alternate & in our case two different TOG ratings (4 Grobags in total) buying up would have been a very costly exercise. In the end I got a Bubbaroo one ($15 cheaper & quality seems just as good and is 5-point harness compatible) and an al-cheapo one from Big W ($12.88) for warmer weather. All in all if you don't mind paying the price the Grobag is a fantastic product. Fuss free alternative to blankets Reduces risk of SIDS Sets good bedtime routine for bubs Has zipper guard to prevent baby getting nipped in the chin Prevents our 9-month old from moving around the cot so much he ends up side ways in the cot & stopps him getting his legs caught between the rails Has TOG rating & nursery thermometre and very good guide of how much clothes to put on bubs to ensure s/he is comfortable Good range of sizes: 6-18months, 18-36 months & 3-6 years Expensive, expensive, expensive (eg. 2.5 TOG 6-18months cost $80) Standard Grobags aren't 5-point harness compatible and the travel versions are not readily available Grobags that only have front zip (no shoulder poppers) are a little hard to put on/off without waking babySimilar opinion? Grobags are great sleeping bags for the little ones, perfect for those wrigglers that end up with no blankets on. They are cotton, not fleece, which is important for some sensitive skinned babies. Plenty of room in the foot area and I love the fact that the zip goes all the way to the end, unlike snugtime bags where in my experience the zip goes 2/3 of the way down, so if you want to change a nappy you have to bed bubs legs way up to get them out of the bag. Look at second hand markets and online auction sites for secondhand ones, as these wear...Read more
