Online scam
I purchased 4 items on line only received 1 (credited for 3 but I paid 10.00 for postage when the item cost 4.95). I wouldn't have bothered. If items are not available don't post them on line. Very poor service Harris Scarfe.

Two separate deliveries, two faulty products!
Brought a Pursonic LED Kettle which arrived and did not work, it did not switch on in fact the switch was broken. Then waited for the second part of our order a Russell Hobbs Heritage Vogue Toaster, it finally arrived. When I took the box out of the delivery box the tamper seal had been broken on the toaster box, this indicated this was not a new toaster. Wash linen prior to use. Washed as per instructions. 2 different brands, supposedly good quality.... cannot return stock. DON’T BUY ONLINE!

Great products
Love harriscarfe products! Some great one of kind items. Prices vary from low to high depending on what you're after. Have bought, clothing, kitchenware through to pillows and they never dissapoint. Only cons are that online shopping is not informative as most products have little to no descriptions of the products which is something you need when shopping online. Second option at checkout for authorisation for parcels to be left unattended if no one is home and lastly customer service and knowledge of products should be improved with the staff at the carindale store.

Very slow online service
I ordered some clothes online on 26th April- still waiting for delivery. The website said 5- 10 days. Have phoned customer service twice. They don't know why I haven't received the parcel- and can't tell me where the parcel is. Pity. Won't be shopping online again with Harris Scarfe

Online orders always incorrect
Firstly let me say, I do like Harris Scarfe’s. I like the selection of goods in all departments and shop there often especially when the sales are on because the products are very reasonably priced. However online shopping is another story... since updating their website it is impossible to keep items in your bag and I recently spent half a day placing items again and again back in the bag. turned my call) and was given the option to drive 40 minutes to my nearest store or send them back. I explained that the items was bought and needed for the next day (weekend) but no one cared. Previously (a few weeks earlier) I purchased a sports jumper and after 10 days of receiving not even an email I had to call them only to find it had not even been sent! 5 to 7 day delivery???
I purchased some items on line due to the fact my nearest store is a fair distance away. Buying screen says ' 5 to 7 day delivery '. Fair enough. Today is day 10, no items and no tracking number sent as per their email the day after my purchase that says ' we've picked your goods and will notify you shortly of tracking details'. I ring today. Great customer service
recently I had tried to get an instruction manual for a product, they sell, they were amazing, they sent me a pd f .I was amazed at their professional manner, they did everything to assist. I would recommend Harris Scarfe to any one wanting good old fashioned quality service. well done !

Website misleading
Ordered a product online after seeing it in packaging instore and based upon the picture on the website. The product when received did not match the picture. The person on the Customer Service line wasn't particularly keen to provide customer service and I'm not sure what the outcome may have been if I wasn't assertive. The whole waste of time could have been avoided by having a functional website with sufficient product photos and descriptions. Think twice before ordering online unless you are certain of the product, and be prepared to wait a while for delivery.

Worst delivery/customer service ever!
Don't buy online from Harris Scarfe! You would get your item/s quicker if you bought interstate. They don't care about customer service, are not interested in feedback and just repeat back, over the top of you, what their bad delivery times are i.e. 3-10 days! Business days that is. Also, they say they will send tracking information but never do. Horrible. Outdated service that should be left in the past. Very rude, ignorant staff.

Deceptive and Bad customer service
I've had the worst experience with this company. I've dealt with lack of customer care, false advertisement and endless disappointment. I won't be shopping with them again and will be recommending the same to friends and family.

Not in stock - online order
Ordered item online from Harris Scarfe site, (site showing 2 in stock). Have just been notified 8 days later that item out of stock and no more expected. We could have used those 8 days to look elsewhere. Very poor service, unsatisfactory delay, and selling stock that is not available. Should confirm stock availability at time of acknowledging purchase.
Will not bother ordering online from this store again.

terrible online shopping experience
I placed an order online over a month ago for two products, so far I have only received one. Their site says that if you haven't received your order within 14 days to contact their "customer service" staff on a 1300 number.
On the 16th day of waiting for my product I called their so called "customer service" number where they told me that they hadn't sent the 2nd part of my order yet because of a communication "error" in their warehouse & unfortunately the warehouse is now out of stock, but they could have it sent to me from one of their st...Read more

I waited another week (hoping to hear back from them) before I called them again. They told me the exact same story that they did the 1st time I called them & that they promise to call me back in a few hours to let me know exactly what's going on. Once again, they never called me back! I have since called back several more times over the weeks of waiting & keep getting fed the same story & they never call back! If Target, Kmart, Big W & many other department store chains a able to provide competent "customer service" "online sales" & prompt delivery, why can't Harris Scarfe? Damaged goods
Ordered $200 knife block of their online website. When the knives arrived the block was scratched and damaged which stood out as it was a black block. Knives were dirty and damaged. The metal casings which held the knives onto the block had fallen off and could nt be re-attached The product honestly looked like a second or one a customer had bought and returned. I would not trust buying online- go into store and purchase the product at least you know it will be new.

Never in Stock - Additional Charges
I am fed up with ordering items which are not delivered because they are not in stock. Then, I get charged for delivery due to reduced sale value. Every purchase I make with them is the same. Not good enough! Smarten up your systems or email customer before sending out part orders. I refuse to ever waste any more time by even looking at their website. Deceptive practices by luring customers in will "false specials"?

Good after sale service
I order fairly regularly from their online specials. I have had a couple of incorrect or incomplete items sent which were promptly fixed by a call to their toll free service line. Shipping is reasonably fast (a week to receive at the most) via Aus post and their online stock levels are accurate.
Great after sale service, accurate stock levles, fast shipping.
A couple of incorrect / incomplete items received but rapidly and easily fixed.

First time buying online with HS
I ordered 3 pairs of shoes from their online store and thought it was pretty good service. Two pairs came first and i thought they had forgotten the third so i called them and they were very helpful and told me that they were delayed and had just been mailed out. So i did have to wait a week or two for all 3 pair but still was happy considering the shoes were very expensive but i got 50 % off them.
