McDonald Jones Homes

We had a pre-tiling inspection yesterday and so far, the build has been so smooth. Our site supervisor, Bernie Refalo took us through the house and explained what had been done and what we should expect next. He was open and honest with a small quality issue we had, which he had organised to be immediately rectified. Bernie has managed the build perfectly - we are almost 6 weeks ahead of schedule and couldn't be happier with the product so far.

My partner and I are first home buyers and had spent previous weeks looking through our options and various builders. When we met Kassy and Nick from Emerald hills they couldn’t have been any nicer. They have both been unbelievably helpful and have made what I thought was going to be a stressful experience very easy. Nick was completely honest and transparent about the steps and prices that would be involved and we were very appreciative of this. Kassy was more then willing to help when it come to making any changes. Although we are on in the pre construction phase we are looking forward to working with them again in the future!

Very excited about what’s ahead and Kassy and Nick have been exceptional in making this happen!

At our internal colour selection Interior designer Jodee, was very helpful in finalising our design selections and meticulously going through all details of the interior of our new home. Lee, also had some great input into the design of our butlers pantry. We very much appreciated the professionalism and great company of the staff.

I had a call letting me know the slab has started and it will be done with in the week, drove pass the block today and the concrete guys told me it will be poured tomorrow, they are moving so well and the site is clean which is great.
Courtney Murphy has been so helpful also, explains everything to you, she does a great job.

Early days into our build process and we have not been happier, as first home owners/builders we have no idea what we are doing but Gareth & Alison at Wallis Creek display have been exceptional. Nothing is too difficult, they always make you feel welcome, return phone calls and emails promptly, and I can definitely say it’s been a joy to have them look after our design in the early stages.
We are very much looking forward to the rest of our build if it all goes as smoothly as this!

Cold water from the tap at 37 degrees Celsius! What a waste of a valuable resource waiting for water to be cool to drink or to fill a jug for the fridge. After construction inspection didn’t agree this was a problem. What plumbers do they employ allow such a system?

Jodee Shepherd was great to deal with. I was a little unsure with my external colours and she helped me put something together that I loved! She explained everything thoroughly and smoothly. Would recommend her & McDonald Jones to anyone! So far my building process has been fantastic and I couldn't be happier. Thank you!

Vincent, our design consultant is incredible in his transparency and ability to provide clear and easy to understand information about each stage of construction and special mention to his team Linda and Bianca for looking after us from day one. Their entire service has been outstanding and hassle free.

Jodee Shepherd has been great to deal with, her knowledge of products was excellent and helped us with choices we didn't think of. Our home will look and feel that much better due to the advice we received from Jodee. Len and Jessica have also been good to deal with, I hope the rest of the build follows the same experience as pre-construction.

From the start, the team at McDonald Jones have been professional and helpful. All the way through the pre-construction process, from our sales rep Daniel Spinelli, CSO Ashley Lynas, Katherine at the MyChoice studio and the teams behind the scenes that have helped us create our home. Our construction is in the final stages and we can not speak highly enough of our construction supervisor Wayne Gordon! Looking forward to moving in!

I am starting my new home, still early stages and Tracy has begun the process guiding me through these initial stages.
I have every confidence that on completion it will be my dream home.

We are not at the construction stage yet. We have been a little overwhelmed with the colours process and would have felt more comfortable with our selections if we were given more time at the studio without being rushed by the manager.
Perhaps it should be encouraged to use open appointments at the studio to have ALL selections made prior to external selections.

From our first interaction, we knew Trupti from the McDonald Jones Team @Marsden Park would be the right person to assist us in designing our dream home. Trupti has been amazing to work with, throughout the process she was focused on delivering on all of our wish list items without compromise. Trupti’s design knowledge, guidance and tireless efforts have been invaluable to us, resulting in a home design that has exceeded our initial expectations. To top it all off she is very friendly and responsive which made what can be a daunting task so enjoyable and simple.
