Buy one!
Just picked up a CV8 Z, very nice. It has all the usual things you'd expect from a modern GM sports/ muscle car, power, handling, brakes and flat out great looks. What surprised me were two things; how comfortable and smooth it is after driving 10 hours straight and the fuel millage. Unless I got a dud, I averaged 9.1 L/ 100Kms on the freeway (at normal speed) I fully expected 13- 15 L/100 Klms as every thing I read prior to purchase had prepared me for. This is a great driver's car. Very civilized in day to day with a beast lurking quietly beneath.
Pretty much everything.
Small trunk space- but who cares.

Excellent
This is a great car which i have owned since 2004, it has had no problems since i owned it and still runs great. It is the only car in its class being a fast reasonably priced powerful sports car you would have to spend a lot more to get the same features and power from another manufacture. Overall a fun car that you can drive every day.
Great styling, Awesome power, comfortable interior, many accessories, awesome wheels, plenty of room in the back seats and boot.
A bit sluggish at times. exhaust tip on 2004 model looks a bit small which was upgraded on later models.

Excellent
A brilliant car that you will not regret having if you can find one. Many owners love the balance and go of these cars. I have loved it since the day I got it.
Excellent handling and balance. They also have great room inside for a two door. Well built with a good amount of features inside. These cars have brilliant power and with some inexpensive modifications done to them, the power gains are brilliant. I believe that Holden got this car spot on. Brilliant economy on the highway. Put my previous two six cylinders to shame when it comes to highway driving.
Can be a little thirsty around town.

Good
Overall i believe that this is a great car for many different types of people and could not be improved much more.
My pros include: I believe that this car has a great design and would appeal to many car lovers, including myself. I think that this car is one of the best sports cars ever made. This model has a new bonnet scoop which adds that little bit extra and would make it appeal to more people.
My cons include: It is my knowledge that this model has been moved to America from Australia and now has to be imported to get one, this would have ...Read more

Kev Lorrieasked
How good are they at towing?
1 answer
Hi Kev
I have never used mine for towing. However I have a few friends who have. The motor has plenty of grant for towing and overall the Monaro should handle it quite well. The structure of the car is quite stronger than the standard Commodore of that era. I hope that helps.......
cheers
