Good wee run around
It's a no frills, easy to run little car.
I've never had an issue with yet, the only funky thing that gets me, but has never actually caused me any grief? It has a two second turnover delay when I turn on the engine.
Oil & water seem to last forever with this car, and it's cheap to run.
I'd recommend it to anyone who was looking for reliability, leg room, and so on, but! The material interior of my car gets dirty very quickly, and whilst easy to wash off, does get a bit annoying how every little mark shows up.

Wish i'd never let it go
I miss this car so much - I had to sell it due to financial issues.
4 door was perfect. Sensitive, well handling, brakes well. Fits 5 grown adults perfectly.
A great city car. Driven out country as well and does well - as always, avoid pot-holes - that kind of driving
should be left for 4WDs.
10/10 would purchase again

Great Car for everyday use.
Great fuel economy and Fast acceleration. Small and great features in car like long side mirror and perfect car for city. But not perfect car for rain. Pickup is poor in rain or when there is water on surface of road. good legroom and gear shifting is smooth. I liked dashboard in brown color and pretty reliable car with low running costs.

Had my car seven years and it never skipped a beat
I had this car for seven years and it never skipped a beat. In year five I had to get a small fault with the electric windows but they fixed in under warranty no questions. Drove all over qld and the NT in it. Had 85,000km on it when I sold it and was still a smooth ride.

I just sold my 2007 model hundai accent and I currently regret this decision.. Its a great little car, always reliable never misses a beat, no maintenance needed, has great accessories, economical on petrol, still zippy enough to get around town and small enough to fit into small parking spots, it is comfy and has a spacious boot, and best of all it feels great to drive. oh, and I love the stereo controllers in the steering wheel. My car was black with dark tinting and looked very stylish. I would definitely recommend purchasing a hyundai accent especially for a first car or a family car.

Beautiful car! definatly consider getting another one, Extreamly economical. I feel the car has great handling and its realy smooth on the road! I love it!!
have a 2006 sedan and love it. great shape, modern. Love all the standard features that no other make offers. You must take one for a spin!!

I just traded my Accent in for another brand car, but I am really regretting it. I will definitely go back to the Accent when it's my next trade in time, was a bad move. How can you go past that value for money, she was a beauty! A zippy, comfortable and easy to drive car.

should win best small car as no other car I checked, Astra, Kia, Tiida, Focus, Renault etc can match it for the goodies it gives as standard for the price.
best value for money in this mid-size hatch range (believe me I tested all of them), everything comes as standard issue, remote locking,electric windows, dual airbags, cd player,adjustable seat(up and down) 5 YR warranty etc, etc. I bought the 2001 model years back never had a bit of trouble, just traded for the 2006 and love it. Very happy with my 2006 Accent Hatch, My first Korean car. Good styling, comfortable seating, good CD/MP3 audio and steering wheel audio control works like a treat. Something most other cars in the same category would have to pay for the option.
Fuel economy, i am constantly getting 7-7.5L-100km, not the best but i can live with that. Plastic panels are prone to scratches, in fact both doors and glove box are covered in scratches.

h. Fuel cap even has a string attached to the fuel door, good idea for people who have left them on the pump in the past.
