A Satisfying trouble free luxury car
My third Lexus after owning a LS400 and a GS430 then a Grandeur 3.8 now a Lexus GS350, the GS350 is the pick of all, but the LS400 and the Grandeur had the best comfortable ride, the GS350 uses less petrol than all of them and handles better also with a firmer ride. the grandeur was a more versatile car with fold down rear seats to the trunk with features that compare to all of them I only wish that they still imported them.

Highly recommend for kids and family
We used to have tiguan for my 2 kids. That was horrible experience to have very little one. We bought lexus gs this year. This is most comfortable car i have ever had.
There are huge spaces front and back seats especially back seats has no dump in the middle. It is all flat and straight floor for more comfortable for kids. Also really good fuel consumption 6l only.

Amazing car for the money
Bought new in 2005 and drove for 11 years. Very little maintenance, great performance and handling. Leading edge looks, loads of creature comforts compared to what was available at the time. One of the best cars for the money I've ever owned. No regrets. The only criticism is you have to hit a few too many buttons to get into the display panel to control basic functions.

Great car with topnotch quality
I had the car for over two years as a demo from the dealer. Great car with great performance and fun! Every time sitting behind the wheel, it makes me smile.
Though the service cost is high ($700/yr), the reliability and quality of cabin material cannot be beaten. You can find a good independent auto shop for service for around $400.
Compared it with a BMW when purchasing, only let down on this Lexus is its gearbox, it's a touch slower than BMW. But the options equipped, fine quality and long-term reliability win my check. I loved the car since purchase and would definitely recommend people shopping in the segment to check it out.

Nice looking and good quality
The 2014 Lexus GS comes in one well-equipped trim. All-wheel drive is available, as are extras like heated and ventilated front seats, heated rear seats, and a premium sound system. Some models feature numerous sports enhancements, including variable sports suspension, a rear spoiler, and more-powerful brakes. The enhancements are nice, but the base GS delivers plenty of luxury.

Nice looking car and great comfort
Everything was excellent with the car especially the reliability compare to other competitor.
Been 5 years owning the car nothings wrong.
Put the new michelin pilot sport 4.
Wow amazing so quiet.
Smooth and solid lexus sedan.
The only problem i choose the v6 2500 cc was enough but less power for a man and a bit thristy.
1 lt for 9 km.
Service was cheap for normal service with liqui moly oil 10-40w and oil filter cost me $250.

Great car
Nice looking car.
Great for around town and high way driving.
Comfortable with plenty of features.
Enough power to fly off the mark.
Mine was lowered on deep dish 19" rims. Looked great.
Unfortunately fuel consumption was higher than expected. Combined (50/50) driving was around 14-15L/100km.
Known to leak around timing belt. ...Read more

Luxury on a Budget
I purchased a very low kilometre 2010 model 2 years ago and the car has been a delight as has the service and attention at Lexus of Chatswood, This is my fourth pre-owned Lexus and wouldn't drive anything else. The GS may not be a sexy as an Audi, BMW or Mercedes but is smooth and very responsive returning excellent fuel economy from a punchy V6 and large body sedan. Cheap to service and I have friends whose Holden's and Mitsubishi's cost more to service. Just add fuel and service each year and its trouble free motoring. Roomy, spacious with lo...Read more
ts of technology that is simple and intuitive to use. The Lexus sound system has always been amazing so turn up the music, warm your seats and arrive hours later from a drive relaxed and rested. My 2003 GS had 300,000 kms when I traded it and it had no squeaks or rattles and was still a fun drive so have high expectations of my 2010 GS.Similar opinion? Comfort and luxury, reliability
My GS is loaded with everything! Driving is such an easy, peaceful experience. It isn't the sportiest car, but it probably is the cruisiest. I purchased this car because the reliability data suggests it is the highest in the industry (consumerreports USA) and I wanted to know that my money was well spent. I basically have zero issues 50,000km in. Fully featured and real value for money. I have been to Lexus of Southport (Gold Coast), Port Macquarie, and Canberra over the years and they have all been top notch. When I needed lexus customer servi...Read more
ce over the phone they have been brilliant (I got a flat tire! and then later had questions about my warranty, and also once I needed help with a technology feature and they got someone straight on the phone to help me figure out what I had done) . My only regret is not buying the FSport or Sports Luxury (even more features and styling over my Luxury model). My favorite thing is the ventilated seats. So rare to find in a car even double the price, and it is a sunburned country, I always used to arrive places with a sweaty butt and back but never again!Similar opinion? Bulletproof prestige and price performance
I've invested in Lexus happily and successfully for well over a decade. I've bought both new and second hand. ES300s and RX 350s. All of them are still owned and driven by close and extended family members.Since relocating to London, I've bought a used 2011 GS300 with low mileage. As with all my previous units, it is a spectacular driving experience. Being a high powered RWD saloon, it certainly drives and handles with a more sports orientation. The big attraction is the refinement of the engine and transmission. They are beautifully matched fo...Read more
r comfortable city driving and highway cruising both. Cabin noise as usual, is almost non-existent. The interior ie: upholstery and finish are simple and world class quality in material, workmanship and aesthetic. The interior is very calming in colur tones and touch. The appointments and features are as you would expect...plentiful, appropriate and effective. So far, the GS300 has lived right up to its elevated pedigree regarding reliability. Nothing ever goes wrong and if it does, it seems to be easily and readily remedied. Having Toyota DNA has some very powerful advantages for a prestige vehicle when it comes to ready parts replacement and servicing.Servicing however is not at bargain basement prices. Lexus quote high nominal rates but here in the UK at least, are prepared to negotiate before the work starts. In an era where low carbon emission options are significantly rewarded through lower fuel price, road tax and rego costs, the GS300 does not fare so well compared to the diesels and hybrids. No matter it is luxurious, easy to drive, powerful, safe, reliable and elegant in stature. As a used prestige vehicle, it offers humungous bang for your buck. I considered buying as an alternative, the new generation Jaguar XF, the BMW 5 series, the Mercedes E Series or the Audi A5 only because I am living in Europe and thought it might add to the exotic experience. To tell the truth, all of these alternatives drove beautifully and had their own advantages and strengths but none ticked all the boxes like the GS300 and intersected all my traditional requirements. Just a rusted on Lexus bloke, I suppose....Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Brilliant car - appalling stereo.
This is my second GS Lexus Sport Luxury - after having owned BMW, Mercedes Benz and Range Rover, it is by far the best car. Build quality, NVH and after-sales service are exemplary. Seriously better quality than the other brands.
Only one issue - the Mark Levinson stereo is also a hybrid - Lexus use a cheap head unit to feed the ML system. As a result it will only accept really poor quality MP3 or WMA files......crap in crap out!
Very disappointing as it is a good unit if you bypass the head unit inputs and use a quality portable media pl...Read more

The best car I have ever owned
After several Porsches, a Mercedes, a Honda Accord, a BMW 535i we bought our current GS450h. What a revelation, and a relief to be out of that BMW. The car is very smooth, ultra reliable, quiet, refined. The stereo system alone is worth the price of admission. We liked this car so much that we bought a used GS300 for a second car.

Oh my gawd!
The best from Japan is better than the best from Germany. Few like to admit it, however it is true. This car is super smooth and quiet, bestowed with every conceivable luxury and has Toyota reliability. No brainer. There are model options with various engines but even the gs300 moves with much authority.
Reliability and luxury - a very rare combination
Automatic boot closer could be a teeny bit more sensitive

Excellent
The GS I now own is my third Lexus. The first one - ES300 - clocked 278,000 Kms. No a singly problem. Just servicing. The Lexus Service the BEST. I owned before 4 Mercedes (last 420SEL) and three BMW. Good cars, poor service. Compare with Lexus they are still behind, particularly BMW.
Smooth, quiet, SAFE, comfortable... in a word SUPERB.

Why GS 250 is in shadows of GS350 and even IS range? The reviews from owners on GS250 are actually very positive. Any guidance as I lean towards GS250 please?
