Good and comfortable
Chair is very easy to build (takes about 10 mins), and the cushions are pretty soft. Just added some small foam pads on the rockers to stop it rubbing paint of wall if it hits.
Purchased in October 2021.

Lovely comfy chair but sharp edges hurt ankles
I love the comfort of this rocking char but the front square sharp bottom edges hurt and cut if you accidentally knock your ankles on them.
I’m wondering about sawing them off or sanding them down to a curved edge.

Great back support and perfect as a compact nursing chair for baby's nursery
We have this chair in eggshell leather and birch frame and it has been a fantastic nursing chair for my first child. Have been breastfeeding for 13 months now, so the chair is more than tried and tested!

rsion as it gives you the option to change the cover/cushion rather than be forced to buy a whole new chair in the future. This chair is one that can easily be used anywhere in the home, so it has a future life if initially used as a nursing chair, I recently considered upgrading this rocking chair as a special treat to myself and investigated gliders and also rocking recliners at Lazyboy. In all honesty this Ikea chair more than does the job. I had settled on potentially purchasing a Lazyboy Harbour Town recliner on sale for $1360 in leather, but thought I had better go home and check if it truly did offer more than my Ikea Poang Rocking Chair. After some thoughtful sitting in my chair at home, the only real additional feature the Lazyboy offered was the recline (which you then can't rock at the same time). I don't like the idea of falling asleep with baby in my arms so am happily sticking with my trusted Ikea Poang!
