Hi Travis,
You might want to look at the Quattro Astra or Attain Premium. Both are extremely compact and perfect for small cars.
I hope that helps!

I highly recommend finding a local baby shop that stocks one and try it out in your car! I would imagine it would as the Porsche are spacious in the back seat. I fit 2 in a Golf hatchback

Can anyone provide a review for the Grandeur used by an older child 4+ ? I'm trying to decide if its worth buying a 0-8 car seat or if an older child would be happier in a booster seat anyway. Thanks in advance!

We found the Grandeur Treo headrest too narrow for Mr 5. His head fitted but It was too snug. We instead purchased the Infasecure Emerge Treo and it is great ...we considered a booster but after a recent accident we decided to go with the harness it really depend on the size of the child but I prefer the harness to the seat belt option.

Are the colour inserts changeable? I notice they are on other models abut cannot find if they are on the Grandeur.

Hi Kristen,
The colour inserts are compatible with the Grandeur, however the head piece is unable to be used because the grandeur features a moveable headrest.
I hope that helps!

I think it would be best to go to a store and check if it fits before purchasing one! Hope this helps

Thankyou. I was hoping to buy online as I live at least an hour away from my local store, however I will take your advice and go to a store. Thanks for your prompt reply though

Yes! It does. I have a Cx-5 and I just bought this seat and it fits rear and forward facing, you have to put the passenger seat a bit forward when in rear mode but I find this for any car seat (including capsule). Also I fit 3 car seats across too!

What is the recline like forward facing? I am onto my 3rd car seat with my 4 year old and cannot find anything so her head doesn't slump forward whilst asleep - latest is safe n sound maxi guard sict and not overly happy about it.

Hello. The recline isn't too much forward facing. My daughters head does slump when asleep in this car seat.

Hi there, the recline forward facing isn't great either. We think it is slightly better than some other seats but there's no way that head flop is eliminated as was claimed at release. Also, at full recline (which there's not much difference from no recline to full), the seat is slightly less secure when installed than it is when no recline. Hope this helps. Thanks

The Grandeur has 9 recline positions in forward facing mode. More often than not 'head flop' is caused by a car seat that is not adjusted to suit the child's size.
Make sure your car seat is installed correctly, and the straps are adjusted so that they are coming from at or just above the shoulders to prevent head flop.

What is the safety rating out of 5 for rear facing and forward facing with the grandeur Vera?

It hasn't been independently tested on the CREP website yet, being such a new seat on the market. So it doesn't have a rating as of yet, but Infasecure claim their extended reward facing range to be their safest seats yet.
I also bought the Quattro treo for my baby and I love both these seats. After countless hours of research on car seats I truly I believe extended reward facing is the way to go.
