Our machine forwards the timer as it starts on wash cycle. In regular wash of 55 minutes, immediately after a minute of starting timer jumps to 49 minutes and then the wash cycle is stuck at 27 minutes. It does not move to Rinse cycle. No error code on machine. Can anyone help us with any solution.
Thanks in advance.

Our F & P washer keeps going out of balance. Did everything on the manual to try and fix it like sorting out load or restarting. Now it just won't spin after the wash. So frustraing. Any help?

The bowl of the washer is suspended from four rods with shock absorbers at the bottom. The shock absorbers use oil as a viscous medium to slow down the movement of the bowl. Typically the oil has leaked from one or more of the rods. Just need to buy and replace the rods. Easy home repair. Write down your model number.
Mine failed from my wife spinning horse blankets which heavily unbalanced the machine each time overloading the shock absorbers.
Thank you for replying, yes have now replaced them.

My machine fills fine and starts to agitate, but with 52 mins left in the cycle (of a 56 min normal wash) it beeps and says NO TAP. The only thing I can do is to stop the machine and do a spin cycle to get all the water out.
So it fills and empties fine... why NO TAP when it should be agitating?

Hoses connect the right way around?
Hot tap turned on?
Hoses were connected 3 years ago and haven’t changed. No kinks, no blockages, no leaking, waste hose is not blocked in any way. The machine fills perfectly fine. It’s after the machine is full that it says NO TAP
Check that the taps have been turned on.
Check that the inlet hose filters are not blocked.
Check that the inlet hoses are not kinked or squashed.
Check to see if the drain hose is too low or is pushed into the standpipe too far. This will cause the water to siphon out of the machine refer to Installation Instructions.
The flow rate of the supply water may be too low.

My first complaint it does not wash cleanly. I wash in rainwater, when I hang my clothes out I have to go out and hose them to get lint etc off them everything as far as I am concerned not clean. Now machine will not lock, starts agitating but will not allow water through. Stops at 49 mins and starts peeping and will not go any further. desparation before thiscomplaint, tried again, would not lock, started agitation, then let water through, astounded, put on pause to get clothes, back again no water and same situation. Whoever designed this machine sack them never owned a fisher and paykel 1250 dollars down the drain they are awful and very noisy. Not happy Easter Neighbour let me use his 7kg LG wonderful clean clothes. Neighborhood looked at machine not a good advertisement for F and P. Disgusted 80 yt old where have all tthe reliable washing machines gone

What is the difference between the 'handwash' cycle of this model vs 'delicate' cycle of WA1068P1?

Machine starts off ok until it gets to the spin cycle. For example it reaches the 22 minute mark then reverts back to 25 or 32 minutes depending on which cycle I'm using. The double dot timer still flashes & the timer continues to count down whilst the machine isn't doing anything then it will go on to continue it's cycle. It will do this probably 5 times a wash. My 50 minute regular wash cycle can take at least 1.20 hours to complete. Does anyone know what the issue is & how it can be fixed.
Thanks

mine has just started doing the same thing - in stead of full 47 minute cycle it starts filling, then skips to 13 minute spin n starts draining the water !! whats going on ?
Mine does the same 47 min to either 32 or 13. Did you get any responses/ suggestions?
Ours has started doing this too. There is no info in the manual or in the on line documentation - does anyone have an answer as to what is happening?

The machine becomes unbalanced while spinning, only while spinning even when nothing is in it. Everything else works perfectly. How do I open the machine up to see what's causing it?

I guess you remove the screws. Just be aware it could mean an expensive repair bill if you do.
Personally, I would check the manual first then contact F&P as I am not a technician
check to see if its level on the floor you might need some packing under it, then check the spin sensor other than that check the manual under troubleshooting or contact the manufacturer
I removed the screws but can't seem to take it off. The back part wants to lift but the front section won't and I can't see any reason why it can't. I know it's the suspension rods because it's doing everything it's should but becomes unbalanced just after every spins cycle starts. It's frustrating because I know what to do when the top is off but I just can't get it off

Hi, when lifting lid on 10kg top loader from closed position, there is a loud clunking noise. It has become louder recently. Any ideas? Thanks.

I had the same problem. I undid the 2 screws either side of the back of the lid. With lid in vertical position, lift straight up, after depressing two lock tabs below screws. Then, remove 4 screws at the base of the lid console at back of the machine, and carefully lift the top of machine enough to view spring mechanism on both sides under the top of console. Mine were both stiff because of surface rust. I sprayed them with dewatering fluid, (WD40, Innox etc) and hey, its all good!! reassemble and enjoy.

When I wash sheets, 1 fitted, 2 flat sheets and 4 pillow cases, they are never rinsed clean? They always have what looks like dry patches and also scattered marks that look like dry fluff. I used to get this in my maytag machine if it was overloaded. My machine has always done this since new. I purchased my machine in October this year. Thanks Helen

Is Warranty - contact F&P to check machine is operating correctly.
