I tell moms get the purple stuff!

published

I absolutely love this product. I not only use it on my children when they're little but i still use it on my older two. 8 and 10. I also used it on dad one time he too sleept like a baby. Although i do use it sparlingly on their bodies ie under their noses and on their hair or so. They have sensitive skin. I swear by this product. Works well with the bidy wash

I don't want to but I have to

I haven't used in Johnson's & Johnson's lotion on my toddler and my toddler has a reaction to it where is though his eczema became worse than before. My infant broke out in a rash all over her body. I don't want to throw away my bottle of lotion it's brand new but I have to do what I have to do. In the trash it goes.

Must Have!

Does NOT make baby sleepy

published

I'm a strong believer in aromatherapy and this lotion DOES NOT help my baby to sleep. It smells lovely but that's about it. The scent doesn't even last long and I don't like all the harsh chemicals in this product. I use it on my baby every so often to massage her but once the bottle runs out, I won't be buying any more.
The smell is beautiful
Scent doesn't last long, too many harsh chemicals, does NOT help baby sleep, the price is TOO MUCH.

I tend to use it with bedtime bath before bed. Love the smell - baby smells so fresh & nice. It makes me & my baby feel relaxed. Would continue using it every night.
Aromatic smell - soothing & calming. Very smooth texture.
Not sure whether it helps baby to sleep better overnight. Quite expensive for the size of it, but I would still buy it.

I do love this lotion. Compared to the Johnsons pink baby lotion, this one is much better. Baby's skin really agrees with this lotion. I will keep using it, though I have stopped using the bedtime bathwash as it didnt agree.
Smells sooo lovely. makes babies skin so soft .
This is expensive, but agrees with babys skin and so I will definately keep using it. I haven't yet seen it in a larger bottle, not sure if one is available but this would be much better value.
Not convinced about helping baby sleep, baby still sleep when he feels like it regardless of the lotion.

Expensive-However it has no effect on baby's sleep-agree with the reviewer below.

I found although this was a nice smelling product it definately made no difference to the childrens sleep. Not to greasy for the bath
Like the bottle colour and size easy to squirt out. The smell is really calming
the cost seems a little high especially when they claim it helps baby sleep

Overall, i think this product is abit expensive especially because it doesn't relax my son as it claims to.
I love the smell of the fragrances in both the wash and this lotion. The smell lingers in the bathroom afterwards and my baby was always smelling wonderful and fresh.
The thing that disappointed me the most was that it was quite expensive. I thought that being an expensive and trusted brand that it would do as the packet says and 'help my baby relax'. My son was just as hyperactive after the bath wash and then the lotion as he was prior to his bath.

This is nice product. Even though the nurse did tell me that JOhnson Baby products are very harsh on the baby's skin and not to use it. I still used it and found there to be no irritants on my baby. My mother used it when I was a baby so it's a well trusted brand. I would recommend this product to any mother. Though not for its sleep inducing qualities.
This has a really lovely smell.
I don't really think it had any effect on my babies sleep. I think the bath then bed routine is what gets them to sleep.

I only use this as my baby loves foot massages and I find this a good product for that and it smells nice. I sometimes massage his legs with it. As it isn't a natural product I would be reluctant to smear it all over a baby but that is just me, I know other people that isn't an issue at all for. In terms of all over moisturiser I just use Sorbolene as I use that during nappy changes anyway and have never found a negative reaction.
It does have a lovely smell
I did not find any effect at all on my child's sleep

I really dont like Jonhnsons products at all, they full of chemicals and are extremly harsh on babies skin. Definatly not good for a child with sensitive skin. There was also no such effect of my baby sleeping better when i used this product, it was complertly useless. Just another way of getting people to buy their products with false promises. Its definatly worth your babies health to be buying this product.
Has a nice smell to it, thats about all.
It didnt help my baby sleep better at all. It was also very awful on my babies skin, she came out with huge rashes on her body.

Johnson's Bedtime lotion is a beautiful moistioriser. I can't really say if it helps me getting a good nights sleep but if it really does it's a great additional feature. It makes my skin ultra soft and smells devine. In combination with the shower gel, great range of products!
beautiful smell
nothing to dislike

I bought this in a pack with all the other bedtime products. I would use the bedtime bath and then massage bub with the lotion. It does have a lovely scent, but after using it I never found that bub slept any better and the Bedtime bath dried out his skin. So I've now switched to something else.
Smells lovely.
Calming effect - never found that bub it made bub more relaxed.

I love using lotion on my baby, it leaves her skin really soft (not that she really needs it) but its really nice. It seems to leave her calmer? maybe the lavender, or the massage itself.. but ill put it down to the ingredients. Once again my baby suffers from allergies but i find this to not irritate her.. I do find that it is a bit sticky afterwards.. None the less i would still recommend this to mums.. I like it much better than using oil or plain sorbolene.. it smells a lot nicer and baby seems calm before sleep
The calming effect??
sticky
