Over Priced Battery Vac

published

Very average suction and battery life when new. The rechargeable battery will no longer hold a charge after 2 years. Rechargeable appliances are not worth the investment. Be wary of even brand name products using rechargeable 12 or 18 volt batteries as they often do not have the power to do the job unless they are high quality Lion batteries which are not cheap on their own. Go for 240 volt Vacs and get reliable performance.

No longer charging

Purchased from Harvey Norman. I thought I was buying a quality product. I was never happy with it's suction but assumed it hadn't been charged properly. It's barely been used as a result. But now it doesn't even charge. Very disappointing product. Is it still able to be returned please?

Starts off good but turns bad quickly

The Kambrook Captiv12V was recommended to me unfortunately. Fortunately an extended warranty was also recommended but I had to have it replaced within 12 months. It had great suction to start off with but within 2 months the suction was so bad that I gave up and used a dustpan and brush. Do not buy this dustbuster...the replacement was a bad as the original one purchased. The paperwork is out to return the second one to be replaced with a different brand. Original purchased February 2015 stopped using it then finally replaced it February 2016 and the second one hasn't worked well since June.

Definitely not reliable!

Was never really happy with the so-called 'Turbo' feature and now just 3 weeks out of warranty and can't get anything done about it. Kmart didn't want to know and Kambrook wanted nearly the full price to replace it! The charge only ever lasted about 3-4 minutes. Like previous reviewers, it was just a waste of money that we could not afford.

I'm sure it just slips into the charging station. By memory the instruction booklet explains this.

I can't locate the instruction booklet, all I have it the charger an vacuum cleaner. There dos't appear to be a charging hole on the vacuum cleaner, hence my question,
Where does your charger plug into the cleaner?

The battery can only be recharged while the Vacuum Cleaner is sitting in the charging / storage cradle. The charger plug fits into the side of the cradle.
