Trip to south Africa 3 weeks put everything I need and more seperate backpack is awesome for leavening the big one behind and still have what you need... Also when at the airport everything is on you not seperate when checking in luggage you can just take the small one with you! So yeah my review is all over the place but you get the point lol
Very durable material! Great size light when empty helps with having heaps of gravey luggage!!
Nothing really!

Early days but very happy so far

I have literally just bought mine and very happy with the Kathmandu sale! (£200 down to £89) for the 70+15litre. I managed to get last years batch which is orange and grey which i love (this years seem to be all black). It's got a great adjusting system and handy features like the clip-on day pack, zip away straps, 'dry bag' top, top load as well as horseshoe side zip and carry handle.

My only concern is that the bag itself is pretty heavy. I wanted something I could trek with and also travel with and this seems to do it all. Fingers crossed the others are right and I love using it too!
Handy hybrid features
A bit on the heavy side when thinking of trekking. Would rather it was 60+25 but otherwise great bag.

Good for traveling to a destination and then stopping to set up camp. But for bush walking, climbing not so good as you have to remove the pack all the time to access what you need. For the price, you get a lot of pack, but not overly versatile. Probably search for a better engineered pack.
Good shoulder and hip strapping system. Internal laundry bag is useful. Hiding panel for the shoulder and waist straps are good for traveling on planes and trains. Fully lockable, all main compartment zips have locking holes.
Deployment of strap cover slow and awkward. Lack of external pockets. Accessing main compartment is slow. Glu on is slow and clumsy to attach/detach

Hello Jamie,
I have had my Interloper for a number of years and I am very happy with it.
It is well made, strong and has performed well over the few years since I originally purchased it. I really like the adjustment of the carrying harness arrangement. I have adjusted it to my size, convenience and comfort.
Unfortunately since I purchased the Interloper I have not kept-up with new designs, models and manufacturers. All I can say is that I am very happy with the Interloper.
Best regards,
Steve.
