The Best car that i have owned and i have had a few Europeans .
Bought the LS400 used had around 40000k for around 4years of ownership I had no trouble and nothing broke.
On the 4th year the Electronic instruments all blacked out on one cold morning in Bowral but started working again when returning to Sydney's warmer temperatures they never played up again as I was mostly in Sydney. Traded it for a GS 430 it was an ok car but not as good as the LS400 we now have a 3.5 Litre GS Sport much better than the 430 although a great car it is not as comfortable as the LS 400 but we are happy with owning reliable trouble free cars.

Rolls Royce comfort, serene quietness and waftability
High quality evident from the moment you lay eyes on the paint to the first touch of the buttery leather and high gloss wood inserts. When you shut the door you shut out the outside world. Noise drops to spooky quiet. If you don't shut the door properly, it pulls itself shut. Soft close. I bought one after riding in one belonging to a friend. God's own armchairs for seats. Quiet. Easy to talk with others at highway speed. Love it. You can easily be first off at lights if you want, the big car has acceleration. Overtaking is easy. Massaging rear ...Read more
seats, heated seats, lovely when we went for a break in wine country during winter. And everything works, unline a 7 series oe S class or Audi A8 where you would be getting the latest niggle attended to. My mate bought his 2 years old, mine was 4 when I got it. Trouble free motoring for both of us ever since. It always smells fresh inside. The cabin filter has a UV light disinfecting system that kills bacteria that normally build up in the filters of cars with aircin. Our friends with other prestige cars prefer it when we take them in the Lexus. One couple we know live on a small secluded lane, the sort of thing fiction writers dream of, a tint character street in a big city. Only problem is the road surfacing machines don't fit down it. Its full of pot holes and repairs. Their cars rattle. Ours is quiet. People who own an LS know what a truly great stereo is. It comes with one of the best, and the car is so quiet that you hear the sounds you want to, not the noise you don't want. I had a 740 BMW for a while. The Lexus has more useable equipment, is faster, quieter, more reliable and less than half the running cost. If you were taking both cars to a racetrack I think you want the BMW for the sporty feel, but since I never do that and never will, I want the Lexus. Quietness, plush ride, dealer service, they treat you with respectSimilar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Excellent
When I drove a 1991 model LS400 I thought that it was the best car I had every driven and I have driven a lot of cars. However, the 2001 onwards model takes it a step further. This is the best car that I have ever driven and would be perfect for a long distance road trip or easy cruising around town. You would be as relaxed at the destination than you were when you left. Lacks a bit of character like a lot of Japanese luxury cars but more than makes up for it with its perfect build quality and features for a price that substantially undercut it...Read more
s German rivals. I am aiming for this to be my next car. Sheer silence from within the cabin, quality of fit and finish is faultless, things operate electrically that you wouldn't expect like the steering wheel and seat belt height adjustability. Ride comfort is limousine like and overall the Lexus is effortless to drive. Styling is derivative of a pre 1999 Mercedes S Class. Some originally in its exterior design wouldn't have gone astray but this has been somewhat rectified by the current model. The cabin insulation mutes the great sounding V8 but it is a luxury car first and foremost.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!
