Poor quality, questionable warranty
Had this fridge just over a year now.
It works, but the "Stainless Steel" is a painted on finish. The finish on panel with the water/ice dispenser has started delaminating in multiple places (all edges - including around the water dispenser). I have a $3000 fridge with grey plastic parts showing though.
Put a warranty claim in within the first 6 month's, was closed as not being a manufacturer defect - after several excalations, support staff explained this meant I'd damaged this. Massive leap considering the entire fridge is immaculate except for this one panel.

Best thing we ever did
Just love this knock knock fridge/ freezer.
Fantastic water/ ice dispenser, love the extra custom ice dispenser, love the amount of storage, brilliant door in a door drinks fridge as well. We love that the freezer is on one side, fridge on the other. We went from a basic fridge to this and absolutely love everything about it.

So far so good!!
We have only had this fridge for 5 days but I absolutely love it. A major purchase is always worrying as you hate to buy a dud. In fact I now read these product reviews before committing! I was taken in with the instaview door but also wanted a side by side as detested our old French door fridge with big drawer freezer you never had a clue what was in there. This way you can easily see everything in the freezer and fridge. We chose the plumbed option and the only bad thing is we cannot work out how to attach the water filter. A good surp
... Read morerise was the craft ice as this was not in the in store model. We've been loving that for our cocktails! Overall a great fridge for the price. Big enough for us a couple. Sleek design and being able to open the glass door for quick access to drinks is fantastic. Only thing is I feel the glass could " click" better on closing. Fingerprints would be an issue if you had kiss ( on the glass). For us though so far it's like a new toy and we are thrilled !
looks great but small problem
brought this fridge for the instaview option. looks and works great. only had it for 4 days and have noticed that the instaview door does not close enough for the seal to meet the larger door. there is condensation occuring which drops water into the recessed handle of the larger door. i have contacted LG and have sent photographs at their request. waiting to see what eventuates.
now that LG has replaced the item i am still very happy with its looks functionality and design. the craft ice function is great..being able to have the choice of either small block, crushed or the craft ice is a nice touch.
wifi connection is good with the app.
will still purchase LG products....
