I owned a C size Maglite years and years ago possibly towards 2000 till 2004 - the C size torch was a little easier to hold and manage and far far far lighter than the D size cousin. The C size torch doesn't have as long a run time as the D and this does count if you're using it outdoors and there are far fewer LED drop in substitutes for the incandescent bulb as standard. s to look a lot more of a 'Pencil' than the D counterpart - personally the D size is the better option and fills the hand much better and gives longer run times than the C - so less opening and closing etc. Strong, well engineered, accessories to suit are plentiful. C size batteries lasted far shorter than the D's. Seems to look a little funny also compared to a D size torch.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!
