My kind of fun
I'm 38 years old and I've never owned a scooter or skateboard. This about sums up my background. I wanted to do something fun and at the same time help me get back in shape. Although I used to run and ride my bicycle a lot (I did a few 70.3 Ironmans few years back), it just wasn't as fun anymore especially because getting into the sport isn't exactly cheap. I wanted to find something to do that was fun and at the same time I can enjoy with my kids. The Micro Monster Kickboard filled that void. I was immediately comfortable riding it aroun...Read more
d our neighborhood. Even with the rough concrete pavement of our streets, the huge tires held up. I can just imagine how much more awesome the ride would be when I take it to an asphalt road. So now, I can join my kids as they scoot around on their Mini Micro.

Not so scary
I bought this for myself and my husband the micro black so we could join in with our kids 3 & 8 while out and about. I was concerned about balance on a two wheeler. The monster is stable and even I can ride it easily. The turning arc is a little wide as you lean to turn rather than steer. The joystick is also easy to use.

Monster fun
I purchased the monster for our in school scooter skills programme to cater for students with balance or other physical challenges. The monster has allowed students that would otherwise be watching from the sideline to fully participate and enjoy the thrill of riding. I have given the monster a decent thrashing myself and really enjoyed the handling of this well made scooter.
great build
little diffixcult to manoeuvre for smaller children

What a great toy....
I had purchased the original kick board in Australia 8 years ago and now 8 years on both my children have scooters. I saw the monster kick board and thought wow.... I was due for an upgrade. I had thrashed & smashed the old kick board and travelled all over Australia & still not had to replace one part on it. And I expect the new kick board to be of no difference. The boards are extremely durable and well crafted, excellent for paths around Cities, Omaha beach path ways and great for the turns. Whilst not as fast as the original kick board stil...Read more

Micro Monster Kickboard
Initially i bought my 2 year old a lean to steer scooter. Watching him learn to master it in moments and then fly down the ramp at home and seeing his almost teenager reaction made me research a scooter for myself.
I was instantly attracted to the Micro Monster Kickboard's looks and read and watched some reviews.
So much so I sold the car mummy didn't want and bought myself the monster.

n the road with plenty of time to spare before the train or bus arrives. Excellent for transfers from train to bus etc. The Monster folds quickly and with the handle left extended but folded, becomes a trolley following behind when i am in shopping centres. Its also a great "walking stick" type rest when in this configuration.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

More fun than both my skateboards
Purchased the monster after spending an afternoon on a borrowed one, took to it straight away, my son rode it today after never riding a scooter before and now he wants one too. It is a lot of fun and so easy to ride very smooth and stable, lots of remarks from passersby.
Low centre of gravity and smooth steering makes the board real stable easy to turn highly recommended
It's all good

Questions & Answers
sebastian t.asked
I’m 40 and I want to buy a scooter to use it with my daughters (7 and 4). Should I get the micro monster or the micro original?
1 answer
Micro S.Micro Scooters
Hi Sebastian,
Unfortunately I'm not quite sure which model you are referring to when you say Micro Original - do you have a link you can send through for this scooter just so I can advise.
In regards to the Micro Monster - this scooter uses a lean to steer mechanism so you shift your body weight from side to side in order to change the direction you are riding. If this is not something you are used to it can be a little tricky to get the hang of but if you ski, surf, snowboard, skateboard etc then you should have no issues.
The Monsters wheels are relatively small in comparison to some of our adult 2 wheeled models which means they won't absorb the lumps and bumps as well.
However, this scooter is relatively light weight and uses a very simple folding mechanism making it great for putting in the boot of the car or taking on a bus or train.

Is this as quick as a micro deluxe flexible? Also is it more stable and does it break better. Cheers James
1 answer
I'd probably say that it's a bit slower, breaking is good but you have to take it steady as it will throw you off if you break too hard. It's not as easy to turn a sharp corner. Is very stable, a lot heavier than a 2 wheeler.

T bar vs pilot steering which is better?
1 answer
Hi there Tan, surprising the stick is really comfortable and provides ample contol and support which a skate board dosn't have .
I have used the kids t bar and preferred the stick
Hope this helps
