Rinse
I have had a Meile washer for many years, passed on to my daughter, still going strong, upgraded to this model, works fine, however my only fault with it is; it can not RINSE only.
Purchased in June 2021 at Domayne for $1,599.00.

Terrible smell in machine since first use. Can't get rid of it.
Problems from first few weeks of using it. A smell that ruins our clothes. I have to repeatedly wash clothes to try and remove smell or throw them away. Smell has never gone away. Wish I never bought the machine as fobbed off from my first complaint. Not my only Miele product but this has ruined my Miele experience and would never buy again. No tough washes in 1 adult 2 teenage kid household. Carrying out cleaning/hygiene wash at least once every 2 weeks. This includes special cleaning detergent. Miele never solved any of my complaints nor re...Read more
corded them even though I asked them to. Now my 2 year warranty has expired. I have tried everything they asked and more. I had different reps repeatedly telling me what I should try. Same thing over and over. I finally agreed to get A service call. As soon as he got here he said he couldn't help me Why did Miele advise me to get a service call? Waste of $179 and whole day off work waiting for technician. This system needs the extra warranty if thinking of still buying it . I have a cheap one for sale.Purchased in September 2021.

Don't waste your money! Endless faults and issues.
I purchased his washing machine as it is a high and premium product from a reputable manufacturer however I have had endless errors and fault with the product, the twin dose Fails constantly I can’t even use it anymore the wash liquid cartridges do not expel fluid the machine cannot expel liquid from the canisters causing the canister to squash inwards.
Wash liquid is not a very good quality even general stains don’t come out easily neededing to mostly needing to rewashed and the whole idea of the cartridge system is useless not to mention ...Read more
quite costly to buy. Most of the time clothing does not even washed thoroughly regardless of the products used to remove general stains. Machine comes up with errors constantly. I cannot use most of the functions I'm restricted to one or two otherwise the machine does not operate.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!
Worst Machine Ever do not buy!
I purchased this to replace my older Miele, I was so disappointed. Build Quality compared to my old machine was very disappointing, what’s the machine has a good range of programs the machine was noisy from the start rattled every time it’s done. Called a Miele engineer who advised the machine should be running full at all times and this would stop the rattle never heard such rubbish in all my life. I also purchased the tumble dryer to match the machine this did nothing but tangle the clothes so badly. I contacted a online thankfully they took...Read more
them back and I went to AEG instead. I contacted Miele who were less than helpful advising me to lengthen the programs on the tumble dryer and this would solve the problem which I totally disagree with in my opinion I would never buy another Miele product after-care is shoddy beyond comprehension.Similar opinion? Not a good product
The washing machine was faulty from the start, the drum was hanging on some faulty springs so every time the machine spun it would hit the sides and make a horrible banging sound. Called Miele technicians to come and fix it multiple times, with no success. Then other things started going wrong so we requested a replacement. The replacement is now only 6 months old and has had errors F0220, F0213, F0212, F0211, which are all related to the DOS unit. Apparently the sensor part is crappy and needs replacing, so weeks of no DOS use and technician c...Read more
omes out to fix it and he's here for half a day, only for the error to return a few days later. Called Miele and apparently they have to order a part from Germany and will take several weeks. No thanks, asked for a full refund and buying a non European brand this time!Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Excellent washing machine, saves money in the long run!
I got this machine because clothing is so cheaply made these days ... I've got to make it last the distance!
These machines are incredible; the last one lasted 11 years.
It washes consistently well, rarely does anything come out dirty. I like the wool wash & the little cartridges you can buy separately, wool smells amazing when it comes out.
I also purchased the WMV960 WPS PWash&TDos XL Tronic for work (clinic towels etc). This has a 30 min function on it, just like the top of the range one purchased 11 years earlier; this is missing on t...Read more

This is good
Not often is a brand actually mean something, all of it's made with the same components, in the same massive factory in China. Had some problems with the machine and was really happy with Miele and their response, problem sorted and machine running like a dream. Was a good ending

Great wash& Spin
I was elated to find a washing machine that washes well and spins dry my clothes so well that clothes almost come out dry! What a time saver in the drying process. The machine has lots of choices for cycles and you can adjust how long it takes to complete the cycle. There is a limit though. It is a little noisy in the final spin cycle but fairly silent otherwise.

Fit for purpose - just
The main idea was space saving so this front loader looked the best. We have had top loaders all our life with no problems. but due to space...Unfortunately this top loader is not able to get the clothes the 'bright white' we are used to - not sure about others.

so far, so good
Recently my Miele novotronic W830 finally died after 20 years, it was a great machine and lasted very well considering I have 5 children and wash at least twice a day. I purchased the new twin dos/ cap dos machine relying on the past performance of my last machine, and so far so good. I like the new features, it washes the clothes very well, its easy to use. It is a little loud in the spin cycle but nothing I cant live with.

An excellent machine
Machine provides me with all the services I need ie Short wash, it is quiet, easy to use. Clothes do not crease so eliminates ironing. My last Machine lasted for 17 years so I didn't need to look at other brands though we did our homework before purchasing . Even a man can use it.

No one can beat german engineering
I have been using it for almost two years and wash it beautifully. It is very quite. Can barely hear it while on the spin cycle.
I manly use short cycle and i cant brlieve how clean the clothes come out.
I bought it to match their dryer which is god send. Love German products because they last.

Detergent for Twin Dos Constantly Out of Stock!!
Machine itself is okay - no problems and the clothes come out clean even with the quick washes. The danger with paying $300 more for the twin dos system is that the detergent is not readily available on the Miele Shop. I have waited for two weeks and still no detergent...I would have stuck to the normal machine if I knew about the ongoing stock issues.

Terrible!!!!!!!
Warning - this machine is a waste of money. Clothes are becoming worn and damaged at a fast rate. Agree with previous comments which state clothes and towels are like cardboard. Have had no issues with F&P and Samsung washing machines before.
Also think there is a Miele rep writing comments and answers on people's reviews.... Beware of what you are reading!
Perhaps Miele used to mean quality, now it just means overpriced junk.

Quality remains long after the price is forgotten
We purchased the WHK130 from Miele and the results have been unbelievably positive. The engineering of this appliance is exceptionally good, quiet in operation, economical in water and power usage. Above all the clothes come out clean and fresh. We run a small bed and breakfast and the Miele suits our purposes to perfection. Yes it cost a bit more but after 2 months I have the confidence well will be happy with our investment.

If it is not a Miele... It is not a Miele.
I recently bought the WKH130WPS with both TwinDos automatic dispensing system with PowerWash and came with a gift voucher to cover one year of Phase 1&2 supply. The Miele TwinDos detergents are of great quality and leave garments perfectly cleaned, pleasantly scented and soft with no need to use fabric conditioner (!!). The machine is built like a tank, engineered, manufactured and assembled in Germany, with high quality finishes and features advanced washing options that are easy to understand and navigate. The computer based user interface pr...Read more
ovides maximum flexibility. This machine also features the EcoFeedback function that tells the user exactly how much electricity (in kWh) and litres of water have been used at the end of each washing cycle thanks to built in meters: I have never seen a washing machine capable of delivering 8kg of perfectly cleaned laundry using only 0.3 kWh and 57 L of water in a 3 hours washing cycle!! The ECO function also further reduces energy consumption by increasing the washing time (up to 3.5 hours) while the PowerWash cycle uses more electricity and water but it takes less than one hour, so it all comes down to the user's choice whether going for the more economical option (with longer washing time) or for the quicker option with PowerWash (with higher energy and water consumption). No need to say this machine is extremely quiet even when spinning at a massive 1600 rpm: this very high speed combined with the unique Miele patented honeycomb drum and pre-ironing steam finish guarantees minimum creases and laundry dries in an hour or so when line dried. The care for delicates, silk and woollen garments is unparalleled: in some cases the load (i.e. say Merino Wool, Cashmere Wool or silk garments) can be more expensive than the washing machine itself but rest assured nothing will go wrong if you select the correct washing programme and detergents. This also means massive savings in dry cleaning costs for those garments that are extremely delicate but can actually be water washed. With the intelligent load recognition system you do not have to worry about wasting water, detergents and electricity for small loads. There is no disguising the fact I was very reluctant initially to buy this article because of its price but after reading reviews and the Miele's company profile I decided to take this risk and I can now confirm that Miele's slogan 'Everything else is a compromise' is true because this machine is worth every single penny and has no competition.Similar opinion? So many service calls, so many problems!
After having this machine for a few weeks I found that the dos detergent container became sucked in and would not dispense any more detergent. It was as if it had been pressurised.(?) I took it into Miele and they told me it must have been the container and replaced it. After a few more washes it then happened again with the new lot of detergent. I then organised a service call. The service technician said that he couldn't find any fault with the machine except that it was dispensing too much detergent. Apparently all these machine dispense too...Read more
much detergent because they are set for hard German water conditions and not soft water like we have in Melbourne. He did adjust the amount of detergent to be dispensed. 3 days after he had been the same problem occurred with the detergent container. When I again rang service I was told that all they could do was send another technician out. I said a technician had only been out 3 days previously and couldn't diagnose a fault and asked to be put through to a manager. The manager then offered to send out a replacement machine. The machine was then replaced. When it was installed I asked about getting the detergent dispensing level adjusted and was told they had never heard anything about the problem. I ended up changing it myself although it wasn't easy. After a few weeks I kept getting a fault message that said to check the hot water outlet. I couldn't see anything wrong so I arranged another service call. The technician who came out said that it needed a new part. Mind you this is my replacement machine that is only a few weeks old and every time you call service you spend between 15 and 30 minutes on hold and then you have to wait about 2 weeks before anyone can come and you have to wait in for half a day because they can't give you any indication of when they will come except am or pm. He ordered the part but couldn't book me in for him to come back for another 10 days. A few days later I did a wool wash and the machine turned my cashmere jumpers into pieces of felt. I rang service again. They couldn't get anyone out any earlier and they advised me to stop using the machine. On the day he was due to come back the technician rang me and said he was going home sick and that someone would call me to reschedule. Someone did call but then said it would be another 10 days to 2 weeks before they could get someone out. I explained that I had been waiting already for over 3 weeks at this stage for it to be fixed and that if they didn't get another technician out they could organise to take it away and give me my money back. Another technician did come out that day and he then determined that the machine did not need a new part but rather had been programmed in the factory in Germany to rinse using hot water. I understand that mine is not the only machine that has this issue as I've had further service calls because of problems I have also had with my Miele TKG 450WS dryer (It's about to be taken away as they can't get it to work properly) and the technician who came said that quite a few machines were rinsing with hot water. Hopefully, I won't have any more problems with this washing machine.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

When you replace the cartridges do you need to reset the twin dos or does it do it automatically.

Hey there, I am having an issue with the maintenance cycle of twindos for compartment 1. In accordance to the instructions, I have filled a container with water, but it keeps saying "insufficient cleaning agent". I tried filling it partially, filling it to the top, restarted the process at least 10 times - still the same message. Meanwhile it went smoothly with compartment 2 from the very first try. Do you have any suggestions?
