can't trust staff
Im a uni student and I went in to buy my first laptop ive owned, anyway the bloke upwelled me hundreds and hundreds of dollars on stuff that I didn't even need that I found out later, I am appalled that some people can do that given the financial circumstances of a full time uni student

Salesman quickly lost interest after we had purchased.
Produce delivered was not as demonstrated and unusable. Salesman did everything he could think of to prevent a refund. Then wanted to charge us nearly a $1000 for the privilege.

Disgraceful customer service
If I could give zero stars I would, ordered a PlayStation 4 controller online for my sons Christmas present on the 01/12/19, was given an online booking reference and did not hear anything until 10 days later when I received a call from Harvey Norman gosford, stating they had my item and will process the order (10 days after they charged my credit card) they never provided me with a tracking number which I thought was odd, and when I didn't hear from them for another 2 days I called back only to be told they couldn't Find my order even with my ...Read more

I kept calling back and was eventually told to call Harvey Norman online to chase the order, and when I got through to them they told me that harvey Norman auburn had the order. When I called the store and asked if I could come in store to pick up what I purchased as I was in panic mode thinking the item would not get to me before Christmas, I was told that they were processing my order (3rd time) and will email me the tracking number (never came). When I didn't receive a response again I called Harvey Norman online, only to be told that they emailed me saying they will be refunding my money (never got an email) so when I told them I spoke to the Auburn store where they told me they had stock left, they told me they would call them and get back to me. To my surprise I received a phone call the next day saying they were happy to send out another controller of a different colour to me and would be happy to give it to me for what I paid for it on the date of purchase (they were all the same price). When I told them I wanted this particular colour as its my sons favorite I was told there was no stock available, given all the excuses under the sun and that they will do what they can to complete the purchase. At the time of writing this I still have not had a return call which was promised not have I been refunded money. End result my son will be missing out on his gift, and if Domayne/Harvey Norman were as quick at solving problems as they are at processing payments this would not have happened. Better then online buying
Spoke to a sales rep Jason and he was a really nice and helpful bloke, he knew his stuff and their prices and quality and much better then those budget online dealers where you get no customer service, thank you Jason really appreciate your help and hope you get a good Xmas bonus !!

Appalling Service !
I ordered a rug online which in itself was a horrid process..... cost $99 for delivery as I was unable to select the pick up in store method. Very poor customer service
We ordered the Catania outdoor setting which we were very excited about. We were told it would be delivered by the end of November. When we rang to ask where it was upto they then said it is possible it won't be ready til after Christmas! When it did arrive, it was in flat packs! no one told us we would have to put the furniture together with Allen Keys - this is why I don't shop at IKEA. Not impressed. ed the skin off my hands trying to tighten the screws into the ill fitting holes. I don't own a drill as I don't have use for one very often. I am so frustrated with the amount of time and effort this has all taken with absolutely no care from Domayne when we rang to complain. Paid for an iPhone 6S - order cancelled, TWO MONTHS later no refund
I bought an iPhone 6S Plus online a month ago. My funds of close to $500 went straight into their account. Two weeks later when it hadn't been delivered, I contacted them. They told me they tried to ring the number I gave them (our home phone) without any luck, which is odd since it has a message bank. id they hold on to my money and wait for me to contact them?? I've been back and forth with them for one month and still have no refund. I thought they would be like any of the other major retailers (Kogan, JB HiFi, Dick Smith, Harvey Norman) but their customer service is deplorable. I will NEVER buy from them again. If I don't get the refund this week, I'll have to seek it through the ACCC. What a nightmare. Shop elsewhere. Current update as of 2.1.2020. Now at 63 days and no refund. Quoted two different prices
I used their chat feature to enquire about the price of one of their beds. I also emailed them. I got an immediate response from the chat and quoted an expensive but relatively reasonable price. I then received a response email to my original email 1- 2 days later quoting a price of roughly $400 more. I believe they googled my name, saw I was a white collar professional and increased their price as such. Awful after sale service
Be careful when buying from Domayne !!!! If something goes wrong you are on your own ...They will ignore you and do everything to blame you for a problem .As per picture i was sold base and mattress that dont work together.Its a hazard and you can break your neck if you use this products together . What a joke this place is.Absolutely no respect for customers and no assistance if you have any issues regarding your bed.

Never again - Rude after-sales service
I bought a product on sale. It was only $20. I went to return it unused and the staff were patronising and downright rude as if I had some nerve returning a sale item. I am pretty sure that their refusal to give me a refund, or even a store voucher, is in breach of consumer protection law (which I will follow up). As for Domayne Fyshwick, forget it. Never again will I set foot in a Domayne store.

WORST company I have ever dealt with
Domayne sold me an outdoor table set. There were numerous manufacturing defects that I noted immediately upon receipt of the set. The table and benches had several defects. The benches often making a loud cracking sound when more than one person sits on it. They kept telling me that the "irregularities" in the table and benches were normal.
We recently moved and took off the tabletop to find 22 redback spiders living inside the hollow base (as well as many other species with which we were unfamiliar). They can easily crawl out of the base ...Read more
to the underneath of the table from the hollow base (at the top or at the bottom as both have gaps) while we are sitting there enjoying a meal and we have five little girls ages 3, 4, 7, 12 and 14. The base is literally a haven for poisonous spiders. After several email conversations with the franchise owner, she is unwilling to assist. We kindly requested a pickup and refund of the set due to safety hazard and the unreasonable danger to our children and they have repeatedly refused. They say the table couldn't possibly be a haven for spiders, but they missed the fact that the gap between the hollow base and the top is big enough to fit an entire pencil. They won't respond to any of my correspondence regarding the issue. We spent $3100 on this table set and now we basically have to throw it away. Scammed is how I feel
Went online to Domayne today to purchase a ceiling fan (which was advertised as being in stock and ready to ship). Order was placed and paid for online. Then received a call from my local Domayne store in Newcastle to say that Domayne do not sell ceiling fans and never have. Called the online franchise and was on hold for 2 hours. Sent an email that bounced back as invalid. Feel like I have been scammed. Called the Kotara store who basically admitted that I was unlikely to ever receive the order and they would do their best to help me. Stay away from Domayne online.

I bought a MSI infinity gaming computer today. The advertisement online said it came with a 27 inch curved monitor to be picked up only at the store. The computer was handed over at the Bundall store but not the monitor. They have not returned calls and they have told us we must go through MSI online but the ad specifically says it is only available at the store and our efforts to claim the bonus online were not at all successful. The store has closed and they have not contacted us. I have sent emails and after reading these reviews I am pretty sure I am wasting my time dealing with them. I would love our monitor.

As a company that is owned and franchised by Harvey Norman, you would expect better service, hey? I'm going on 5 weeks and still no refund and Domayne online is no longer responding to my messages. If you bought your item with a credit card you might be able to dispute the transaction. My bank's following up a reversal of funds now. Hope you have better luck than me, good luck!
