Love this pram
I have purchased 2 mountain buggies over a few years the 1st was older 1 the newest is a mountain buggy mini. Purchased as my son is over 2 but needed an upgrade.I walk alot and was 1st unsure about not having air filled tyres.
But to my surprise it is fantastic to use on my walks.
Small slim design compared to other mountain buggies hence the name but still a fantastic sturdy pram
The usual three wheels and storage under the basket is smaller aswell but still does the job.
My only gripe would be no pocket on the back as I walk I usually hi...Read more

Seems nifty but it’s not!
Firstly my front wheel didn’t lock in place and fell off all the time. This was received with horrible customer service. And real struggle. When used in conjunction with the capsule the pram is very bumpy because of the plastic tyres and I would go as far as to say unsafe for a newborns neck. Because of its small size it also feels like it is going to topple over. When used as a pram the buckles always get in the way when placing my child on the seat. The brake is super hard to release especially wearing flip flops because of the force required.

Waste of money
This system is terrible. The pram is faulty. The front wheel didn't lock into place so fell out every time I had to use stairs. Unsafe! We tried to contact mountain buggy about this but with no reply from them. My partner had to fix it himself.
The capsule release jams up, making it difficult to remove and clip is starting split, again unsafe!
Mountain buggy should be ashamed of themselves for selling such low quality, dangerous products that are supposed to protect babies

Such a great little pram
I purchased this pram from baby bunting as a bundle with the capsule car seat. It was budget friendly which helped a lot. It is so easy to fold up and has a very small turning circle. I still currently use the pram with the car seat capsule it's very handy to duck into the shops. The quality it very good we only had an issue with the foam handle cover splitting on a flight when it was 4 days old but I blame qantas for that one. But one thing is that it doesn't have a bar across the front for bubs but I believe you can buy it additionally.

Great for 1 year, then disappointing
We bought this pram mid 2013 and it performed very well for 1 year. It was easy to manoeuvre, collapse and put up, great to travel with and compact for out apartment. At 1 year problems began, the ball bearings fell out of the front wheel, steering was more difficult, by 2 years there was a lot of corrosion on the metal, the wheels couldn't be removed, then both wheels eventually fell off. At 2.5 years the pram is completely unusable. I feel disappointed because I felt like MB was a reliable brand, and the pram was relatively expensive. We lived in the inner city and then in suburban Melbourne and the pram had very normal usage.

Love my Mountain Buggy Mini
This is a great pram - it is our only pram, and I bought it because at 5ft nothing and with back problems, I wanted a sturdy pram that was the lightest on the market at the time. This one fitted the bill, and I've been able to fold it up and down with one touch, and it fits nicely into the boot of my Ford Focus. We live in the Inner West in Sydney, so space is of a premium - both within our house, and the cafes, restaurants and supermarkets around us. This pram manouevers its way into all these areas with ease, even one-handed, forward and b...Read more
ack. It looks great, is not extraordinarily expensive (on sale for around $400) and 1 year on, still looks as good as it did when I bought it. The tyres are great too, I recently went over a bit of glass, and did not have to worry about any punctures. I like how the bottom tray is not enclosed - its so easy to put things in and out of. I'm soon going to get the mountain buggy storage bags that fit on the side. My only extra improvement would be to get matching hooks so you can hang bags over the side. But you can hang things over the handle bars easily enough. I also got the bumper bar that goes over the front, so we could put toys on for bub's amusement. I also found this was additional grip once it was folded down, to hold onto when lifting it into the boot. And I love how it just stands easily too once folded. Definitely recommended. Manoueverability, lightweight, fashionable. Nothing, its greatSimilar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Disappointed
I purchased this stroller on its first release in Australia in Decemeber 2012.
Within 1 week I had taken it back to the place of purchase, as advised by Mountain Buggy Head Office, to have it replaced.
Reason was the handle was constantly lifting in and out and squeaking - this is supposed to be a fixed piece of the stroller.
Then after having the stroller for 1 month the plastic tubing in the hood broke through the material and is now a constant hazard.
Then the squeaking handle came back and continues to this day squeak away.
This stroll...Read more

Zippy Little Buggy
This is such a cool buggy! Its got everything you need from a buggy except its smaller and more compact. This zippy little buggy is light weight (about 8kgs) so its easy to pop in the car. Folding it couldn't be easier and you can do it with one hand. It stands by itself when folded which is pretty cool and means that you don't have to worry about it getting dirty while you load everything into the boot, or you can store it and not worry about it falling down. The thing I loved most about this buggy is that you can manoeuvre it one handed (very...Read more
hand when shopping). Its just so easy to manoeuvre around, yet you still have the feeling of it being very stable and durable. My child sits really comfortably in it and doesn't look like he'll slip down in the seat (as I've seen other kids sitting). We got the buggy as a second one for when we want something smaller to zip around in and we think its fantastic. Highly recommend. We have been really impressed. So impressed
I borrowed a friends MB mini over the weekend as I was curious to try it out. Im so impressed. It moves as you'd expect from a Mountain Buggy with superior manoeuvrability. It has an effortlessness about it with its simple design and clever engineering. I love how compact and light it is, making it easy to take around. The ease of moving around small spaces has to be experienced to be believed. It moves so well that you can turn in tight circles using one hand to steer. I think it's a fabulous little buggy that is the answer to anyone wanting s...Read more
omething compact but solid and durable. The pull out sun visor enables extra sun protection without blocking the child's view. No-one could complain about this buggy being difficult to fold because its a simple pull a lever and fold it down. You do however need to make sure that the front wheel is facing the right way so it doesn't get in the way. The clever little buggy also stands on its own when folded and has auto-lock so you don't have to fiddle with a lever to keep it together to put away. I am totally impressed. Another mountain buggy masterpiece. Light weight, very easy to manoeuvre, quick easy foldSimilar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Can this pram be used off road at all? Looking for something super compact to take away in our campervan and able to use on bush tracks, beach etc. or is there another one more suitable?
1 answer
No! It's completely useless except on the smoothest surfaces because the tyres are solid rubber and it jiggles the baby. I'm currently in correspondence with MB about this - although it says it's an urban pram, it also should stay true to their "off road" philosphy and be at least comfortable on uneven pavements.
