Don’t waste your money.

published

I was really disappointed with this product. It looked great in the ad. It takes a long time to remove and only removes small patches of hair. The majority of the hair has remained especially around the front.

Perfect for everyone

published

I purchased the Nina Silk - one for myself and one for my daughter starting high school. I found that the product was excellent in hair removal, very easy to use.

Handy to have.

published

Very handy to have when you don't have time for a leg wax. Takes a little longer than I thought to use it though. As others have said, it would help if our legs were flat and not boney, then it would be easier to use.

Nina Silk

published

It didn't work like it did in the add, it took a long time to remove the hair.
It takes too long to be practical and the hair grew back as quick as it did when you shave.
It was also very hard to use on the shin bone on the front of the legs and ankles.

pretty good hair remove

published

Take abit to work it right but is hard to use on front of legs near the bone so makes it abit hard. Smooths the legs and removes the hair but still leaves some fine one, but i still like the product and have told others a good item all up.

The most useless thing I have ever spent money on: Nina Silk Hair Removal

published

So basically it's a sander. You rub yourself with this and the hair (and some of your skin) rubs off. The pad is no longer rough within a few uses, and a flat pad would be great if my leg was flat. The "razor sharp" blades on the nina silk mini wouldn't cut butter. The post office sells these for $24.95 and my $49.90 (incl postage) was supposedly 2 for the price of one?!

It's ok but doesn't remove small hair easily.

published

After using the nina silk I have found it does remove the hair but misses some of the finer course, therefore having to go over and over area several times. I also find it's hard to use around the ankle area.

Removes hair, but not in the way I expected.

published

It certainly removes hair. I was expecting it to come out at the roots like waxing. However, it just seems to abrade it at the surface and the hair grows back just as quickly as shaving.

Great for in between waxing & epilating!

published

It's great for in between waxing when not all hair has come through. I don't know whether the hair falls out of the follicle or snaps off at the skin surface? Much better than shaving, have got my 14 year old daughter onto it, I won't allow her to shave.

It's nearly there

Enjoy using while watching tv. Does miss the occasional bit but will get it on the next day. Skin is relatively smooth and it is better than shaving in the shower G

very easy to use,quite effective.

published

Im not completely convinced it removes the hair from the follicle as claimed. this would mean permanent removal. it does feel nice and smooth for a day or two though.

Nickel free hair removal!

published

For someone with skin allergies it is the only choice. I am allergic to nickel (which is in steel) and rubber (which is in hot and strip wax), leaving me unable to wax or shave. Finally I feel like a girl.

Ideal finish to skin

Gives a smooth soft finish to skin and has a glow to it, I have told my friends about the product and encourage them to buy and try it.

Great

published

It is bloody good, painless. Head could be slightly concave to fit roundness of our bodies, won't fit in some places. The hair appears to be not growing back in most places. My most prized possession.

Wow, Fantastic, Love it

published

I have tried many hair removal products and I am a sook with pain. I don't know how it works but it works. The hair grows back slower and very fine that you don't notice it. Easy, painless and I just love it. wouldn't use anything else now.

Takes forever

The product works but takes so long to remove hair from legs....so much quicker just to use razors...rather disappointed as the ads on t.v gave the impression it was a quick way of hair removal
