One of the twin radio handsets straight out of the box was missing a charging contact. A bit of a let down. However then email and follow up call for warranty replacement was seamless. Thank you very much Bobbie-Beth Cable for the next day despatch of a replacement. I felt my custom was of value!
Show detailsNot Impressed
Too much feedback/noise to be used - using in the Rose Bay area - needs squelch control. Also 1 radio does not work in the charging cradle which is very inconvenient.

Great compact handheld
I use this when 4wding as the spotters radio and also as an emergency hiking radio while on the trails. Absolutely love it. Great range and reception with good speaker clarity. Can't recommend Oricom enough.

So great for work and small group 4x4 tour.
I have only one complaint about this radio and it is the charging port.
It is time to evolve and go with usbc. Beside that no problems at all .

Customer service
Customer service is awesome. I want to say thanks to Daniel. Can't wait to use my handheld and will definitely buy a unit for my 4x4 with peace of mind.
Show detailsWorks but not the best quality
Works as it should, but, it feels very cheap, light and not well finished, the Led on top just make it looks chinese, same with the back light and the display. Also a very down point is the charging cord, can only be charged in a power point, so, if your battery goes flat, can't be charged in the car unless you have an inverter. I paid 69 on special what should be the full price or not even that.

Great secondary coms platform for short band use, ie convoy driving or for the kids around camp. The charging opinions are great can easily be changed 12volt or 240volt with batteries last a good amount of time before requiring recharge. Very happy with my kit.

Questions & Answers
Hello, I recently purchased two 2390s and noticed that they both go flat in just a couple of hours. The website spec sheet says they should last ten hours. Two hours just isn't enough to be reliable. Can you offer any advice? I've tried charging them for one day. I could try using a brand new set of AAA batteries, but these are brand new batteries I'm using that came with the UHF.
Does this radio support PTT(push to talk) adapters? specifically military PTTS o the ones that use audio jacks. Can i plug a PTT that uses a audio jack into this and will it work?
