Bought the Terminator model specifically because it claimed to be 'Weatherproof'. Very disappointed to find the user manual states 'Place in a location protected from rain and strong wind' and 'it is very important to avoid direct sunlight'. This is not weatherproof! I have no suitable position in my garden that is protected from rain, wind and sun, so will not be able to use it.

Bad mosquito area here, cost me a liter of blood just walking to my shed.
2 weeks now only going in the evening and night. Photos speak for them selves. Daily I empty same volume out of trap and I think it is having an affect on the problem. Highly recommend and will post again later.

Using this now for 4 months and it made a lot of difference for us. If before we would be eaten alive every time were at the back yard, now - we can actually spend time outside and enjoy it. I can also see a lot of mosquitoes in the trap.

The first was returned after 8 days when the fan stopped working. The second one lasted three days and the fan stopped working. Will not be replacing that one. It catches lots of bugs so is good in that regard.

It is not easy to deal with the mosquitoes in the backyard and I have tried over the years a lot of different products. I came around Pestrol Traps and decided to give this one a go. I don't have a large backyard, so decided to go for a small trap. It was more then enough, and within a months it seems like mosquitoes significantly decreased. And when I checked the trap, there was a LOT of mosquitoes there. Very satisfied with the result and will continue using it.

I love this product. Hate using chemicals, and after chatting to these guys I decided to give it a try. Yes, it did not work straight away, but after a few weeks I started to notice a huge difference. Highly recommend. Customer support from Pestrol was excellent.

Have been using this trap for a year during the summer months and find that it works bloody good. There is nothing you can really use outside effectively, sprays dont last long and if its slightly windy, it does nothing. This trap appears to be good quality and collect a lot of mosquitoes, including moth and other flying things.

I have an average size back yard, about 80sqm and have this trap based in the corner, as far away from where we normally are. I've added the little sachets they have provided, was told that this wold boost it up. Not sure the effectiveness without them, but it certainly makes a huge difference having the sachets, I check trap on regular bases and there would be a huge amount of mosquitoes there. And its been significantly reduced where we normally entertain. Very pleased with the product.

Piece of junk that catches moths and not a single mozzie. Also the light stopped working after about month. Gathering dust in the shed now. Won’t be purchasing any more useless junk from this company.

we bought 4 units of mozi catcher and 2 units of snake repellent about 6 weeks ago. We used 2 of the mozi catchers, never caught a mosquito. Both units stopped working including one of them light stopped working. The snake repellent have both gone crazy with their ongoing weird sound that never stops after about 2 weeks of usage. All in in all, these things are useless and do nothing, big waste of money. We still have 2 of the mozi catchers brand new in the box willing to give them to anyone for nothing.

I would prefer it works immediately when you turn it on; but sadly not the case. The guys at Pestrol said it is designed to kill the breeding cycle. However after a few weeks the mozzies are all but gone; so a big cheers from me. Thanks also for your time over the phone!

I’ve used a couple of products from Pestrol, exterminator and possum away. Both products work brilliantly. After using exterminator in the back yard, after about 3 weeks there was a huge reduction in the mosquitoes. It’s a great little product and does exactly what it says. Highly recommend!!!

I purchased a petrol exterminator "specifically designed to kill mosquito and midges" I also got the attracting to boost my kill rate, I have been ripped off, it has only killed moths, and my mosquito and midge problem has not changed at all, I have followed the instructions and recommendations to the tee yet no success, I believe that petrol is using fake advertising, I also met a person who had purchased the same, when I asked him how his works his reply was "this thing is useless and was a waste of money.
