I only eat light and creamy chocolate ice cream

published

Why can't I buy light and creamy chocolate ice cream anymore. I read awhile back that it is temporarily unavailable. It is the only chocolate ice cream that I like as it is not as sweet as most and so lovely and creamy

Purchased in May 2021 for $5.00.

Chocolate is the BEST and good value

someone complained about the texture, that is what makes it so awesome. Super smooth and creamy, almost moosey. All flavours good but chocolate is awesome.. why would coles not stock chocolate.. so weird. Who cares.. 5 bucks at IGA, worth going

Lovely tasting ice cream.

Chocolate flavour

Love this ice cream but now neither Woolies or Coles stock the chocolate flavour. Have managed to hunt it down in the odd IGA store. Inconvenient for me though. This ice cream goes a long way as the chocolate is pretty rich so I add a bit of vanilla to it.

Not bad

The ice-cream was ok. I would have given it 3 stars but it was a little too sweet for my liking. Would not be purchasing this again in the future.

taste ok, but its texture is too weird

published

i accidentally bought it a couple days ago (I thought it's just normal ice cream). the taste is actually quite ok. however, after having a few bite, i noticed how odd the texture is. it's just so unlike normal ice "cream". after looking at the ingredients, now i know the issue: it's using vegetable gum - so the texture is not creamy, but "gummy".

I often find this yummy tasting ice cream on special and it really does taste nice, so I tend to buy it. For a lower fat icecream it is still really creamy and I find it had to notice any difference compared to other fuller fat varieties.
A very smooth tasting ice cream that makes it hard to believe it has a lower fat content, Really nice as a treat. An economical way to enjoy some dessert when you have a family as it goes really well in a wafer cone.
There are none, but full price it can be expensive.

Peter's Light and Creamy is a great ice cream if you are looking for a high quality, tasty dessert but still want to watch your fat intake. It comes in a wider variety of flavours with raspeberry ripple being my favourite. Despite being low in fat, it really is still quite creamy which is a pleasant surprise. It may lack some of the richness and creaminess of premium ice creams, but the flavour is still nice and will satisfy any cravings for ice cream you may have.
Wide range of flavours. Nice and creamy
Not as creamy or rich as premium regular ice creams

This is a pretty good light ice cream that doesn't have any after taste. It tasted light, so it wasn't too sweet or filling. I enjoyed the taste and would buy it again if I wanted a light ice cream.
This is a light and creamy ice cream which is creamy and doesn't taste too bad. I have tried the chocolate vanilla swirl and its nice to have in a bowl without feeling guilty.
I have only tried these when they were on special, otherwise it can be a bit pricey. It would be nice to see the sugar content reduced and if there were more flavours available.
