Cuts Surprisingly Well
After 22 years my Honda Buffalo mower was beginning to show signs of aging and my search for a replacement ended in the purchase of the Rover Pro Cut 720 lawnmower for $729. (Now $829). At this price point, the Pro Cut is a 19” 4 blade mower with a Kohler XT 7.75 4 stroke motor and a large catcher. These are a recent addition the Rover line by MTD and succeed a confusing array of previous models. nd cables are well restrained. Most minor parts are painted and not plated. The mower starts easily, although I was initially disappointed in that it was a lot louder than my old Honda and vibrated somewhat more. These second thoughts only lasted until I began mowing. This mower cuts superbly. Thick couch is mowed flat and smooth and getting closer to reel mower standards. Importantly there was no digging in and pulling up of couch thatch. The cutting height lever has fine adjustments, another plus for this mower. The mower has one air filter high on the handle leading to a second filter on the motor. Another plus for durability. Blades for this new model mower are a little scarce and to replace the four Rover genuine blades will cost $46. Yes. I am happy with the mower and time will tell its durability. Although an extra $350 plus for a Honda Buffalo Heritage mower with the GXV160 motor will tempt some buyers.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Rover Pro Cut 720
Excellent Mower!
The Rover Pro Cut 720 lawn mower features a 173cc Kohler engine and is ideal for small to medium outdoor areas with fine to rough grass. The unit also features a 48cm (19") strengthened alloy deck, variable throttle, 4 high lift swing back blades, mulch plug and large 65L polymer catcher with fill indicator.
