Made my dog sick
I used the rufus&coco vitality plus for a week or so and my dog developed serious diarrhoea that lasted nearly two weeks. However I didn’t know that it’s the vitamins. After she got well I tried to introduced her again with the same product and she felt sick again. Haven’t changed the food or anything else.
I don’t recommend it at all. Could be potentially dangerous to animals.
Expensive to throw away.
This costs $20 for a smallish 100g pack.
The ingredients are not listed. It just says "safe & natural" on the packet, so you don't know what you are buying & whether the ingredients are value for money.
Both my cats wouldn't eat the wet cat food with this sprinkled on & mashed into the food. The smell is unpleasant & not appetising.
There's nothing on the packet saying cats love this supplement. Now I know why.
Expensive item to try once & throw away.
Hi Erin,
We're sorry to hear that your experience with our Vitality Plus has not been what you had hoped.

Vitality Plus has been professionally formulated and tested for use on both cats and dogs so you can be rest assured that it is perfectly safe for your fur babies. This product has also undergone strict palatability testing which is why it has been deemed suitable for both cats and dogs – unfortunately we can’t guarantee that every pet will like it - sometimes animals, like children, will reject new foods which appears to have happened in your case. Another issue is the amounts of the active ingredients listed on the packet. These values are PER KILOGRAM of product. The daily dose for a cat is 1-2 grams which equals half to 1 scoop. This information is misleading. The active ingredients should be given PER SCOOP. Then I could see how much vitamins & minerals per day my cat would get. Please provide the active ingredient values PER SCOOP.Hi Erin,
Thanks for your feedback. We understand the frustration in buying something to help improve the health of your pet and them resisting it.
... Read more Rufus & Coco Vitality Plus has been formulated in accordance with the nutritional guidelines for companion animals. It is a concentrated powder, the only excipient is a proprietary blend of protein meals from seeds which are rich in nutrition including omega’s, vitamins and minerals and of course protein. Unlike pastes and tablets, our product contains the efficacious dose of the vitamins and minerals to support the claims on pack. Its quality makes it a premium product. Every pet is a different weight and therefore the number of scoops and quantity within the scoop is also different. As a result, regardless of how we show the breakdown to get the exact calculations they are likely to require further calculation. However, we have tried to make it easy by providing a scoop where we have already done the calculations on the right amount of nutrients according to the weight of your pet. We can confirm that Woolworths will refund the open pack. It could be an option to try a smaller amount in your cat’s food and gradually build up the dose. Resist giving them alternative food to encourage them to slowly adapt to the new taste. Wishing you and your felines all the best, Rufus & CocoQuestions & Answers
