Pretty good rotary tool.
Ok, so this is a fairly strange item - it's a workbench/wall mount battery rotary tool.
Normally you don't see bench ones with battery, but turned out it's not such a bad idea.
This thing operates with flexible shaft only. Shaft is not particularly long, so it somewhat limits how far the body can be placed. The handle is not bad, feel nice in the hand, has narrow head for good access and a shaft block button. Seem to have decent set of bearings inside, so might as well last a while. I haven't tried marrying it with shafts from other manufactu...Read more
rers, would be really nice if it accepts foredom ones. Power-wise it's pretty average for 18V tool, less guts than most 12V li-ion (I have bosch/milwaukee/dremel ones), but still plenty for most jobs. Mostly lack of power happens on low RPM which kinda makes me wonder if there is a feedback loop in the motor, or is it just rotating the best it can. On higher RPM power is pretty good. Has overload protection, it will stop if load is too great and must be restarted again. Noise is normal for that type of tool. RPM adjustments seem to be stepped despite freely-rotating knob, but steps are logical. Doesn't mind to run for fairly extended periods of time, not bad on battery either. Centering and run-off is pretty good, can make some proper precision work with it. Slots for attachements are a nice touch, i like them a lot. Handpiece holder isn't bad either.Purchased in February 2021 at Bunnings Warehouse for A$129.00.
