Really happy!

published

We used this for our last son who had bad reflux and was the only formula (after trying 6) that helped settle his tummy and didnt constipate, strangely enough he was better on the Gold version too and wasn't lactose intolerant, my 2nd son shows signs of colic and silent reflux and is 5wks old, this is our 3rd formula and after 2 days there's been improvements and he loves the taste, hopefully it continues, formula is a little harder to dissolve otherwise happy with everything else.

It works but takes ages to prepare

published

We have twins that are both lactose intolerant, and we found this product which seems fantastic at first sight. We found out the hard way though, as this particular formula is so hard to evenly mix, it takes an average of 5 minutes of non stop intense shaking to get rid of the yellow clumps that drops to the bottom of the bottle. Especially when compared with the S26 gold, which dissolves pretty much without shaking. I am not sure what the subtraction of lactose did to the solubility...Otherwise the product works, but I am looking for another product as I heard carpal tunnel is a killer.

Really helped settle bub.

published

We had tried so many different formulas for our bub. We originally had her on Novalac Reflux but it made her very constipated. We did try Aptamil De-Lacy which seemed to hell a bit but made her poo an awful colour and didn’t help with her colic. Once we tried S26 LI within a couple of days her poo had settled and so had she. It got to the evening and she was no longer screaming in pain and also seemed more settled during her day sleeps and started to sleep better at night.

Works well and good priced

published

We learnt our baby was lactose intolerant a few months ago and were very worried with what formula to use. S26 Li is fantastic our little one seems to love it and it is gentle on his tummy. The price was the same as other normal formulas which is great!

Fantastic formula

published

Only lactose free formula my daughter can tolerate without side effects and she actually likes the taste, it's very easy to prepare with clear simple instructions on the can. I have never had a problem finding it in stock anywhere, the new blue can makes it even easier to find on the shelf.

Could be more

published

The formula is easy to prepare. Easy to follow guides on the side. Baby approves defiantly. Drinks it down like no tomorrow even if he is only just gone hungry hahaha. My little one does get constipated even before solids but we give him water to make it less likely to constipate him. It could also be more available as can only get it from chemists.

Is the formula the same as the old S26 lactose free tin? Are the ingredients and quality the same?

Comparing ingredients, minerals, and vitamins its all the same except less minerals. My little one has been on both and has had no issues so far. (Can vary child to child).
