Big enough, fast enoungh, enough ram, more than enough batterylife. I have been using this tablet for my daily browsing and viewing for a couple of months now. Runs very quickly and smoothly.
If i needed to find it's worse point, it would be a stretch, it would be its wifi range. It just doesn't have the same range as my Samsung mobile phone.
Other than that I cannot fault it.

Got mine via Telstra and have never looked back. First tablet ever tried and loved how easy it was to use...however, I just don't like the automatic updates you can't really turn off. Once you update, you can't go back unless you do a complete factory reset and lose all your photos and apps in the process. Compact and light weight, I recommended this product. Holds charge well and can play movies all night long without needing a recharge. This baby wins my vote by its flexibility with an SD card for extra storage. Screen is a decent size for web browsing, watching a movie on your own, and the camera is easy enough to operate. My child loves that it is child friendly in its simplistic usability.

I've really enjoyed owning this tablet all these years. Only now is it beginning to show signs of slowing down due to being forgotten about by software updates and the like. I would still recommend this tablet if you can find it brand new. It would be perfect for school kids or students wanting an easy wifi enables tablet to do research and study on the move. Super useful in car rides too!

I purchased this product back in 2016. It was on sale from JBHIFI. It's functional and useful for university. However the camera is terrible. Photos taken are blurry. So if anyone wants a tab to take photos, I would not recommend this device. On the other hand, for work and/or study related purposes, I suggest this device as it has everything

The tablet is easy to use surprised since I’ve ised apple products all my life, the size of the tablet is great, it’s not to big and not to small so you can still watch movies or shows comfortably. I find tablets are easy to use as they are very straight forward.

A big improvement on my old samsung tablet. this tablet has a really crisp and bright display that is great for watching videos or netflix on. It's also pretty fast and responsive when you open apps or just flick between the screens. 8 inches is perfect, not too small but also not big like the 10 inch tablets. Audio seems to play a little quietly compared to my old tablet and I have to have the speakers turned just over half way, but not a big issue. Only downside is it is kind of heavy, however, I don't usually hold it when I use it I use it stood up in the official samsung case so it's not really an issue for me. It's a great tablet for a really great price, highly recommend

Good tablet that does the job for the average user. Would have been better if it was more powerful but it's worth it at the price point it was offered at. Screen is good and no slowdowns as long as not too many apps are open at the same time.

The tablet is fast and easy to use. With the ability to mirror my phone. Got it cheap as it was a discontinued model but let that stop u. It is powerful enough to do what you need. Long battery life (Why anyone would purchase and apple is beyond me.)

This is perfect if you read alot of documents (for work, school, etc). Due to its aspect ratio it doesn't quite feel comfortable in one hand but it can be easily solved by buying a suction ring. I love that this has uptodate software rather than being generation behind like a lot of tablets out there. Pretty standard samsung experience, not too far from stock android. It does lag pretty quick, that just means that you have to be a bit judicious about closing programs. Would not recommend as a laptop/desktop replacement though.

It's an excellent size for my 3 year old. I can download all the videos, apps and games that she wants onto it. It's a vital device for long car journeys. I couldn't do without this essential tablet to keep a hold of my sanity. It's also taken a few temper tandrums well. Having been thrown on the car floor a few times.

Love my galaxy tablet. Use it to check my emails, surf the internet etc. As mine has the wi fi setting, I also use it to watch videos. Comfortable for my eyes as the screen is big enough for videos. Good screen colour and definition. It is fairly light so I can hold it in one hand for a long period.....

So I had purchased this recently because I wanted a tablet with a 8" screen. It is just about perfect for me as I can seamlessly transfer my favourite movies, TV shows and music into the tablet from my desktop. Audio output is decent, camera is not bad either. Overall, a great purchase.

My old iPad 2 is on it's last legs. So bought this Samsung Tab A. The price point was good.
It is pretty good for what I use it for, just general web browsing, however I don't like attempting to watch Netflix on this. The screen is a little too small for that. Also if streaming you find the battery depleats quite quickly, which is quite frustrating.
The guy in store told me that the memory was expandable to 256GB, so I bought a Micro SD which wasn't cheap. Placed in the device only to find it is not compatible. Spoke to Samsung to be told it is only expandable to 128GB - Thanks JB for misinforming me! Had to purchase another card so now have a 256GB that I cannot use!
But for under $200 what more can you ask

My three year old uses this. Very fast and pretty much unbreakable. Love that the screen and back is more like a plastic than glass. Connects great to Wi-Fi and battery life I find can last for up to four hours once fully charged. Would pick this before an iPad for that age group.

My mate had one and told me about writing notes, Calendar for appointments, Google Speak, internet etc.
So when my Samsung mobile fell out of my pocket for the tenth time and had a fatal, it was time for me to update.
The protective cover is great, and I have got used to carrying it with me.
Easy to read and performs so many functions.- Including internet access.
Really glad I made the switch

I love this small tablet. It's clear enough for me to sit in bed and watch TV shows, list my items on Gumtree and eBay, receive emails and I use it more than I do my laptop. As little as $15 per month, a perfect backup for your phone and laptop.

In 2015 my wife (Apple Fan Girl) had given me an Apple I-pad for my birthday, it took me only a few weeks to become fed up with it so I passed it down to my youngest son much to the disgust of my wife. I think I was turned off apple back in the days when music I-pods were popular but the frustration of MP4 and difficulty setting up different computers with i-tunes accounts just made Apple feel like a completely manipulating housewife. My first PC back in 1996 was Microsoft and first mobile phone was an android so I guess I was set in my ways.

Bought this right before boarding a flight and the charge time was impressive. Easy to set up and general format of tablet is very simple to use. Setting and other finer details are always easy to find. Good battery life and for a cheaper tablet im very happy with it.

I have had this tablet for 10 months now and have not had a problem with it at all. I love that it can share screen with my smart TV which makes it easier to watch what I want on a bigger level. Great resolution and no problems with speed.

I have had this tablet now for 3 months and don't know how I did with out it. Use it for sitting on lounge when nothing on TV and surf the Internet or watch you tube. I also now take it with me to work as I can listen to Audio Books on my way there and back home. So portable and functional

I got this tablet a few months after my phone, and it does everything my phone does, except playing games and watching you tube videos was so much better, I would recommend buying this product, I used to be against buying things like this for children but this would be perfect as a treat for the kids
