Best straightener I’ve ever used!
Super happy with this straightener. It is so much better than my ghd. I bought the wide plate. It heats up quickly and is easy to use. Perfect on my thick curly hair. Only thing is I wish it came with a heat protecter bag like my old ghd did

It's O.K but didn't deliver what I expected.
I have naturally curly thin hair (but lots of it) & no straightener has ever worked on my hair! I can get it straight for 1 hour at the most but afterwards, it just becomes wavy & frizzy again as though never done.
So when I purchased this straightener (wide version), I was truly hoping and praying that my hair would *stay straight* but again, it just became wavy later..

Cant praise the product and customer service enough!
So affordable, yet such amazing quality straighteners! But what impressed me the most was the ever so friendly customer service. I only had to live chat with them once. I purchased their standard straighter but I told them I wanted to see if the the wide plate straightener would be better for my thick hair, and they instantly posted that to me with a prepaid return bag so I could send the one I didn't like back to them.
The straightener is incredible- its half price from a GHD, has a very advanced LCD display- takes maybe 10 seconds to heat up and is super easy to control the temperature. I would highly recommend it.

Love!
I read all these reviews and could not believe how great it sounded. I decided to buy it and it came in 2 days and its beautiful. i straightened my hair incredibly quickly. I have very thick hair so I decided to buy the wide plates and they are such a nice size.
My only issue (which is more feedback and less of a review) is that it doesn't come with a heat proof mat. So maybe SAS could look into doing something like that.
Absolutely love it and so affordable :)

Seriously good!
Just used wide straightener for first time after a quick delivery. After reading so many very positive reviews and product being so reasonably priced I thought I would try it even though I couldn't see how it could be different to other straightened almost 3 times the price. I have a ghd straightener that just didn't seem to be working properly and was becoming hard work to get anything close to straight and was getting a lot of breakage. Moveover Cloud, GHD & silver bullet
Why would you buy cloud, GHD or silver bullet they are twice the price. I bought my daughter the SAS wide plate she cant believe how amazing this straightener is! It glides through her long her beautifully and leaves it shiny, she said its the best straightener shes ever had.

I was also skeptical but what a surprise!
I buy everything off reviews so I was skeptical of the 5 star reviews too but they had 7 day return policy so I gave it a go. I got the wide plate. I just received mine and tried it on a day old hair. My hair is black, thick, extremely curly Asian hair at mid length. I set it to the highest setting and started to test it on my day old hair and to my surprise, it really straightened. It even produced some steam off my completely dry hair with no hair products. on in one go as well. I was extremely surprised. I have a a lot of hair and I was able to straighten it in about 5 minutes. Although I have never tried a GHD this is the best straightener I have used so far. If anything my hair is way too straight now. I tried curling it after but it didn't quite work as I have the wide plate and my hair was way too straight now. I am going to try it at a lower setting after a shower and write another review. Customer service was outstanding as I got a reply the next day over facebook and they even offered me a discount code! First impression of the box and iron was just 'okay'. It's no GHD with its fancy design and marketing materials. Build quality seems okay, only time will tell. If they improve a little on these aspects, it would make this straightener even better! Also wish it came with some accessories like a heat protection bag and croc crips. Iron is very light and cord is long enough. Touch interface was very easy to use. Heats up very quickly! Hair came out VERY straight with great shine. Although there was no pull on my hair it didn't feel as smooth as a silver bullet but this was a very minor difference. I found a little lock above the swivel cord to lock the iron from opening which actually wasn't in the instructions. Despite these suggestions, iron fulfills it's purpose really well so I am giving it a 5 star! It's still early on so I will add more reviews later.1 comment
