Excellent Quality
A very good quality whipper snipper haven't had any problems yet. Starts first time every time without any worries. Easy to put on line was my main reason for purchase done in about 30 seconds no pulling the head apart.
Only downfalls I have found is that I find it seems to be a bit awkward to handle (could be operator), just seems to be a bit short and I believe the cord length could be bit longer. Might go straight shaft next time instead of the bent shaft. Other than that would recommend.

The quality of Shindaiwa speaks for itself in its longevity
Have had this trimmer since 2008. Have had lots of other brands before but the Shindaiwa beats them all hands down. The power to weight ratio is perfect for my domestic needs and no doubt capable for the commercial market. If and when this one fails I will no doubt replace it with the same model. It is good to see that the design has not changed since I bought mine. Fitting new line is so simple, cut a length off and push it through and wind it on, it really is that simple. No dismantling of anything. It also starts so easily. One thing I shou...Read more
ld add is that I bought a litre of genuine two stroke oil when I bought the machine and I still have heaps left, it has a fuel stabiliser that keeps it fresh and I would definately buy it again also. All in all a great trimmer for a price comparable with other quality trimmers.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Best Small Trimmer Ever
I live on a fairly large property and while I have bigger equipment, I needed a small lightweight unit for narrow areas (between fence lines) and on steep angles. I tried lighter weight units (Homelite, Ryobi) but they were difficult to start when hot, and line winding and feed were poor at the best of times. This unit is faultless. After 30 min continuous use, (stopped only for adding more line) it starts immediately. Continued this process for 4 hours. Line treading is fantastic, no disassembly of feed head, just feed the line through and...Read more
wind it up. Unit now has around 30 hours on it and worked without a glitch. Other line trimmers thrown over fences out of frustration after less than 30 hours use. This is the ants pants in lightweight trimmers (you get what you pay for as this is at least double the less expensive units.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!
