The best noise canceling headphone ever
The best noise canceling headphone on the market. The sound quality is pretty good and it is very comfortable to wear. Noise canceling function is amazing, barely hear the noise when the music is on. It is a little bit expensive but you have to tell it is worth it.

Great Headphone but......
Great Headphone, but, for the money, wish they were a lil louder, sound quality and battery are amazing (been to the gym about 25 times, and no need to charge).
Picked these headphones up for a good price from Addicted to Audio (amazing/fast service).
These headphones have some cool features, like controlling devices/app with touching/swiping of the ear peices, can be a problem if your a gym person whose arms occasinally touches ear area (im sure this can be disabled). The app works well with the headphones too.
Would have given 4 and a half stars if possibe.

Noise cancellation is excellent
Excellent noise cancellation compared to QC 35 II's. No "Underwater" feeling like on Bose but when used at a quiet environment, a slight sea breeze kind of noise can be heard. But I prefer that than feeling pressure in my ears when using QC 35's. Sound quality is nothing to write home about. If you care only about sound quality choose headphones suitable for that. Sound quality wise I would rate these at 4 out of 5 stars. Overall Sony's are a better package.

Just as good as expected
Sony products are usually good and these headphones are well up to scratch. Quite expensive but do what they say. Noise cancelling deals thoroughly with background continuous noise and very well but not perfectly with sudden transient noises. Bluetooth connection works perfectly for me, although originally a bit fiddly to connect to my tablet. I use them mainly for audiobooks but music quality is fine for me. The lack of cable makes me feel a bit vulnerable in quieter places like parks - it would be very easy to grab them from behind and after ...Read more
all they are quite valuable! I can't recommend HN as a buying source - they had them on 'offer' then after I paid admitted they had none but were waiting for new stock from Sony, and it took ages.. Lots of other outlets had them at the same or near price in stock.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Great headphone
This head phone is great and a very excellent-sounding, comfortable wireless headphone with effective noise canceli ng that measures up to something like the Bose QC 35
The only complaint was that it had a weird feedback noise when plugged into airline head phone jacks. Not sure why that is.

Absolutely love these
I have had two other noise cancelling headphones previously and these were by far better. I tested them out with a reasonable level of music (nothing blasting in the ears) and with the noise cancelling on next to the running water in the fish tank and could only hear it if I was concentrating. On the plane there was a crying baby a few rows behind me. I found that once I put the headphones on most of the noise was drowned out and I feel asleep without the irritating noise. Highly recommend to anyone for value compared to some other headphones offering similar for a greater price and/or less quality.

Great Wireless Noise Canceling Headphones
I didn’t really know much about these headphones but Addicted to Audio has a really great sale price on them that was much better than the Bose equivalents. I have the Bose wired QC 25s and found the sound of the Sonys much more exciting and great bass response. Also the noice cancelling appears to block out more sound. The wireless functionality is really great, they synch up very fast and the controls on the earpiece work very well. The battery lasts for ages and you can check the battery level anytime. My only gripe and reason for not giving...Read more
them 5 stars is the comfort level. Although they are very light and durable, the ear padding doesn’t flare out like it does on the CQs and it isn’t quite as thick. After about half an hour of wearing them, my ears start to get hot and uncomfortable which is unfortunate because in all other areas, these are a really great pair of cans that I really enjoy using. I researched this problem and there are other people out there with the same issue. People on forums have posted successful mods by using aftermarket ear pads from other brands so I have ordered couple of pairs to see if I can get around this problem. Fingers crossed it works, if it does these will be a truely awesome pair of travel headphones.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Perfect noise-cancelling headphone
I was looking for a noise-cancelling headphone to replace my broken one. At first, I was wondering between Sony and Bose QC35ii. Part of the reasons was Sony's price at the time is higher than Bose one. However, I'm very happy that I went with Sony. Sound quality is awesome. Plus the ambient function helps me easily concentrate on what's I'm doing. Even better, it's perfect fit my head (for my previous headphone, I found it quite overwhelmed upon wearing).
It comes with a nice compact box. What I do not like is when I have to fold the headphone to put it back to the back. I have to be carefull, else it's broken. But with a perfect sound and noise-cancelling feature, no complaint should be allowed.

Sound is good
I've had these headphones for about 2 months now, and the quality of the sound is really good, and the headphones are comfortable. I was going to buy the Bose QC35ii, but Im happy I went with Sony. The sound on the Sony is better than the Bose, however, I think the Bose are more comfortable to wear. I've had no problems with connecting the headphone to different device, even though there seems to be alot of people saying it can only connect to one device only. Although the headphones can't connect to two device simultaneously, the headphones c...Read more
an interchange connections between devices if you turn off bluetooth from the device not in use. The headphones are a bit awkward to fold up and pack back into the case, and there are a few reports that the headband can break, so Im always very gentle when turning off and packing up. Very happy with headphones otherwise.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Best in market with top marks across the board
Was looking for a pair of headphones that combined great sound and noise cancelling. Of course, being a pair of headphones, sound quality matters more than noise cancelling. The current benchmark for noise cancelling were (are?) the Bose QC35's, but from reading around, the Sony's were just a smidge behind.
Given the fact that the Sony's supported a large variety of audio file formats, had great to amazing battery life, almost as good noise cancelling, were comfortable for long periods of listening, had a good bluetooth range and had great t...Read more
o awesome sound to boot - it was a no brainer purchase. While a bit more expensive, i'm happy to pay more for a well rounded experience with all the offerings. For my smaller head, the fit and comfort is great. Sound cancelling does wonderfully well. Sound quality is crisp and clear, yet can reach down low for the bass lovers. Pair it with the (mediocre) Sony "Headphones Connect" app to allow some customisations to sound and equalizer to tailor it to your sound preference. It comes with a carry case in the box and folds up well into a neat little compact package, so it's good for frequent travellers as well those with lots to carry but not much space. The only things i would have a slight complaint about, i prefer physical rather than touch buttons/controls (you get used to it) and for me, the design was a bit too "ordinary". I guess it's good for the majority of the market, keeping a sophisticated, understated look, but nothing to stand out in a sea of headphone wearing crowds.Similar opinion? Best headphones
I purchased these sony wh-1000xm2 during the boxing sales last year. i found them better than the bose which i tested in jbhifi. it is the best headphone with the noise cancelling option which is perfect for train or air travel. i recommend purchasing these headphones from sony as these one do not have the crackling noise.

Blown my mind!
These headphones have been a fantastic christmas gift, clear sound quality with bluetooth due it it's support of APTx and I look forward to future support with Sony's formats. Bluetooth works well enough in most enviroments and it takes a heavy WiFI enviroment such as a shopping centre to cause any interferance. Is a worthwhile investnment if you're wanting to care for your ears and take public transport regulally!

Solid NC headphones
I had never owned noise cancelling headphones before but I fly weekly for work so thought I should give it go. These headphones have a very even sound which I like. The bass is solid and responsive though not droney or overpowering. They sit comfortably on my head and the hard carry case certainly comes in handy. The build quality is also nice. I am not a huge fan of the touch controls as I touch them more by accident than n purpose. Cupping the ear to hear the ambient sound is a nice feature though. The app is also pretty pointless as syncing with my phone or device works fine without it. Very happy with my purchase though.

Excellent sound and ANC
I bought these headphones on boxing day for $317. I was tossing up between the Bose QC35 and these for a long while, but the sale pushed me over the edge. I am so glad I chose these ones, the sound is far superior to the Bose and the ANC is on par. These are great for when I am working and want to block out the surrounding noise like cicadas in the summer. Once you have these on you hear nothing except muffled voices. Love the touch pad on the right earcup as well, very handy to play/pause songs and activate ambient sound. Overall very pleased with these. The only thing that could be improved is the comfort, they are not uncomfortable by any means, but the Bose definitely have the edge.

What I was after
Was in the market for ANC headphones, and pretty much nailed it down to either the Bose QC, B&W PX and these. Due to stock level on the PX, I was unable to try before buying; plus couldn't justify paying the extra odd $150. Cabin pressure on the QCs were discomforting so the WH-1000XM2 really hit the mark.
Excellent audio quality, exciting low end that isn't overly deep and muddy and very comfortable to wear however does tend to heat up a little after hours of wear. Would recommend.

Amazing additional controls!
After doing plenty of comparison reading on this headset vs the Bose QC35 v2, I decided to get these Sony's. I'm glad I did too. I feel the noise cancelling is a close call between both, but what I love about the Sony's is being able to cup my hand over the ear piece to momentarily disable the noise cancelling, as well as the controls to easily skip, pause, and adjust volumn; (or double tap for voice commands, although I do believe the Bose have the voice command functionality as well)

Great headphones
I read a number of reviews and tried a number of different headphones before purchasing the sony wh-1000xm2 and believe I made the right choice. They sound amazing. Also the control functions on the headphones work really well and the sony app is a really good addition. It allows me to upload 24 bit high quality audio which is played over bluetooth apt x. Noise cancelling works very well which is the main reason for buying these.

Best noise cancelling headphone
This is the best wireless headphones ever. I noise cancelling works really well and I can't hear anything surroundings when using these headphones. The pause on the noise cancellation is extremely useful when out and about. The finish is classic and looks durable too.
It is a bit expensive but it is worth the money especially if you travel a lot.

Very good noise cancelling and exceptional features
I don't have Bose QC3 but a lot of comparison are saying that the noise cancelling is better for sony wh-1000xm2. What I like best about this headphone is the ambient sound feature, it will automatically detect if you are sitting on a train and will activate noise cancelling and you won't hear the sound of the train, and then if you get up from the train and start to walk it will automatically turn the ambient sound to hear you surroundings a bit while still enjoying your music. Another neat feature is covering the right ear with your palm and ...Read more
it will temporarily stop the music and turn off noise cancelling in case you want to hear someone talking. As for the sound quality, I am happy to say it is very good especially for people who like a little bit of bass on their music but not too hard. Price is quite expensive but look out for sale and it is worth the purchase.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Solid headset
Has touch controls, makes the experience feel for more futuristic. The tap for google assistant has however gotten a bit slow (but could also be due to my phone). The app that it comes with is pretty bad, but not needed to use. Battery life is great and so is sound quality. Personally a bit tight and can feel sore after 2+ hours

Hi people who have WH-1000XM2 owners,
Do these headphones have a display (or a way of telling) what the battery level is at?
Thank you in advance.
