Adore it
This is now being used for my second child after being used constantly for over 3.5 years with my first child.
I love it, everything about it and wouldn't hesitate recommending it to anyone.
I love the height factor. My child is up nice and high to communicate with. Whilst tiny I an change their nappy in the pram on a change mat without bending down and without having to use shopping centre change tables. I love when in the seat it can be pushed up to cafe table height to use as a high chair.
Love how the back wheels fold in to use as a trolley up and down any stairs
I could go on forever
Everything.
Takes up large boot space

I LOVE my Xplory. This is my second child but my 5th pram purchase!! (PRAM ENVY) finally i have found the right combination for me.
I have a phil & teds as my running pram. but I was deciding bewteen the chameleon and the Xplory but hands down the height factor won it for me. I had a c-section and used the bassinett for the first 8 weeks for EVERYTHING, it was a change table a rocker a portable bed and obviously a pram. I loved going to the shops and not having to put my baby on those change tables at the shops- grosse. Also now that my baby ...Read more

I love my Stokke, I bought it as my brother advised me. He has one in the Netherlands. I did have a minor issue with the seat sliding down, I contacted Stokke online and had a part shipped out to me immediately. It’s great that I didn’t have get a pram then stroller. I didn’t bother with the bassinet, the baby inset was fine and my baby was a Prem. It’s great that it can be used as a high-chair.
Fantastic that the handle is adjustable. Great for tall Dads. It’s so light-weight and has an amazing turning cycle that can be done one-handed. The he...Read more

This has been a great purchase despite the price tag. I chose it primarily because I've had episodes of back pain previously and predicted that the bending to lift a child in and out of a lower stroller would not be terribly good for me. We've used it almost non-stop since we brought our newborn home, both indoors and out. She happily sleeps in the bassinette attachment, which I was not originally going to purchase, but I'm now thankful that I did. My partner originally detested the pram (due to it's cost and he thought it looked like a dentist...Read more
's chair) but within a day of using it, he agrees that it is indispensable and is equally pleased. It's been one of the top purchases we've made for our baby. The height of this pram has been a back saver as I don't need to bend down to pick up and lie my newborn down and can comfortably stand to settle her to sleep, the detachable pram fixture has been great as a baby carrier, we've only been for three walks and already lots of comments on what a fantastic pram we have, the manoevrability is superb and narrow width means that it's easy to get in, out and around shops, the folding wheels allow me to get up steps without assistance and the compact under-carriage storage means that I don't unnecessarily pack the entire household for every outing (I believe less is more in the nappy bag). Wheels sound and feel lightweight and "plasticy", not able to jog with it and not really an "all terrain" option.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Simply the best pram ever - I cannot recommend it enough - save your pennies to buy it - you will never regret your purchase. I had a problem with the wheel and took it to the repair shop - they gave me a new wheel and I was off - no questions asked. The functionality of this pram is amazing - you can face the baby towards you while he/she is still bonding with you and turn it around when they are little older. Plus you can add a carseat attachment so you can pop your carseat straight into it without waking baby. Buy this pram you won't reg...Read more
ret it! Fantastic, easy to use, high up off the ground away from all the fumes, baby can sit up at the table with you and not down near your knees, excellent warranty that they don't make a double pram versionSimilar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Excellent Stroller
We use this as our primary stroller and didn't realise how great it was until we brought a light weight (all be it still pricey) feather weigh pram for traveling. It is not until you have used a standard pram that you realise what you took for granted.
Pros: No bending down to get baby in and out.
We cafe a lot and the baby is instantly at table height, watch the world go by and interacting with you which means you get to enjoy you coffee/lunch without speed eating. No getting baby in and out of the chair and thus risking a tantie at...Read more
any given moment. It took about 2 weeks to loosen up the mechanism for collapsing and engaging the chassis - after that it is a complete breeze (thank you youtube for the instructional video). It fits in the car fine. The two wheel mode is great when you have no choice other than stairs or an escalator. It pushes like a dream!! It wasn't until we purchased our second travel pram that I understood how smooth a ride baby gets and how little push effort I have to give.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

The Best Pram Ever!!
Stylish, convenient, innovative, everything I could have asked for ... Happy baby, happy parents :)
My daughter sleeps for 1-2 hours at a time during her nap times. I have started walking everyday, love pushing this pram. Some days I am out 3-5 hours (with breaks in between of course!) but baby is quite happy to be sitting in her xplory, perched up like royalty.
Everyone who passes us, either smiles, waves or stops to talk to her which is great for her communication and social skills!

Overall a great pram. Looked at just about all the prams on the market and a lot are great big things you'd need a four wheel drive to carry them with, are heavier and are much less wieldy in shops and cafes. The smaller Bugaboo Bee has baby way down near the ground and might be a problem for those with back problems and doesn't really have a bassinett. Bugaboo Chamelean was a bit wobbly and the handle was slightly more fiddly to adjust. The Stokke won over the Chameleon due to it's looks, I didn't think the suspension on the Bugaboo front ...Read more
wheels was much good for anything and you can't adjust the height of bassinett or seat on the Bugaboo. Stokke also has room between the back wheels for your feet/legs to swing if you're tall. When the seat is facing backwards, if you have the foot rest on about the third click down you don't need to remove it - just manouever it around the handle. I remove the footrest by grabbing the "legs" with each hand and flicking the little white levers with my thumbs and sliding down. The footrest is easier to work with in the new version of this pram as it has one catch to release. I load the seat into the car first, shove that up the front of the boot sideways and them put the chassis in behind it (sideways also). If you've got anything in the bag, you need to take it off as it will swing around the chassis bar. the carry bag is very easy to remove - two poppers and the handle is right there for you to pick the bag up with. The brake was getting a bit stiff to operate so I pulled the right rear wheel off, disassembled some of the brake assembly so I could remove the brake pedal and put Dry Glide on the bearing surfaces of the brake pedal. It's nice and smooth and easy to apply and release now. Overall a great pram. A bit expensive but if you keep it clean and in good condition you can sell them for good money. Adjustable handle (up and down), reversible seat, can change the angle on the seat, narrow and very manoueverable. You can flip the back wheels up for rougher surfaces and take pram onto escalators (preferable to not have bub in the pram when you flip wheels back or take onto escalator!). Seat padding/material easyish to remove to wash (after bub spews on it). Slightly light-on for storage, could fold up a bit smaller but it's already fairly good in this regard. You need to learn the tricks for easy assembly/disassembly but once you do it's very quick to pull apart.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

I absolutely LOVE this pram! It manoeuvres very well, you can change it into several different positions with the child facing you or facing away from you AT A GREAT HEIGHT and it looks good.It even handles quite WELL on terrain. According to David Jones Stokke is a wonderful company to deal with as well. Once you buy this pram, you are sorted for age 0 to 4; you don't need to buy any additional stuff.
look, height, manoeuvrability, changeability.
It takes some time for the pram to get shipped from Europe to Australia, so make sure you order well on time.

Amazing and worth every cent.
The height of your baby's position is the winner for the baby and your back and the lightweight design is great.
Our baby loves being so high and so close to us while also being able to face us. The option to have her face us or outward is there too but we haven't tried that yet. The Stokke is so light, so easy to push and so thin. You can fit it anywhere! There are so many movable options which make it so easy to use. The ability to have her sit up when awake or lay down for sleep with the flick of a button is ...Read more

many people have said that you have to take off the foot-rest to disassemble, but I watched a stokke rep slip the foot-rest through the handle - don't have one myself, but I know this through research, hope it helps

Loving it
Enjoying every moment with our pram and going for long walks with in 1-2 a day. Best parts for us compared with other prams we looked at:
- backward and forward looking seat is a great plus
- seat angle can be adjusted, so can put it down if our girl wants to sleep
- very easy to disassemble / fold up for car transport
- easily navigated through shops with one hand
Also bought the parasol, but found a large muslin attached to the top wih bulldog clips the more practical solution, so wouldn't recommend
Super versatile, Well build, extremely well thought through design
A bit heavy, bag a bit smallish (but still ok for us)

No regrets, but I am actually considering a travel stroller too since I don't want to lose my Stokke in plane transit or damage in a foreign country.
The height of the chair/bassinet is fantastic for interaction with my baby. It steers with one hand and is very sturdy, considering it's open style. The actual look of it is quite space age and be prepared to get admiring comments every day you take this out.
Cost. It is basically the Porsche of prams.

I haven't yet experienced the Stokke Xplory, however am keen to find out more.
As a 5'11" (180cm) female with a severely damaged back who is considering pregnancy I was today advised by my physio that this is the pram for me as it will minimise bending, etc. While the price is somewhat scary I would imagine it's significantly less costly than ongoing medical intervention and a price worth paying to try and maintain a strong back!
I'd be interested to know just how much spare space there is for groceries, nappy bags, etc as there doesn't appear to be a great deal of storage space which would mean lugging around additional bags, etc and potentially mitigate the benefits from the height.

You can purchase a matching nappy bag that attaches to the bottom of the stroller! :) when you fold it up and put it in the boot the bags go in the stroller seat. (Im not strong at all! I find this pram very heavy though to lift into my boot.)

Terrible
This pram is terrible for the back, I suffered from siatica during pregnancy and I bought this pram with the idea to be carefull with my back.
Because of the weight I could not use it for a month after giving birth: too heavy to bring it in and out.
Moreover the material it is made of is a very poor quality, not made in norway for sure ....
The height
Heavy, difficult to fold,unstable,

It is so easy to use. to fit into our mid size 4WD, it is 3 steps. Fold handle to be inline, Telescopy handle down to min size. Flip rear wheels forward to stair climbing position (like 2 wheel goods trolley). Should be same for hatch. for sedan with limited headroom in boot, 4th step would be needed. Using left and right hands, press seat release on left and right side, then lift of seat, EASY. (there should be no load clicks or bangs, I did this a few times as I forgot that instructions as we seldom take the seat off.
Our girl is 10kg now, s...Read more

I bought the lot, chair, bassinet, umbrella, change bag, travel bag etc. I've been very happy with it, I love that I don't have to bend down to pop in a dummy and good for interaction with baby, great eye contact (especially first time mums who don't want to take their eyes of their little one). Also great if your tall, as you don't have to bent down to push (adjustable handle). It's great that you can buy different colour fabric kit, so when you have no 2 or 3 you can change colours and it looks like a brand new pram. I love that when you g...Read more
o out for lunch, the pram can be wheeled right up to the table (no dirty high chairs) and also baby is at the same hight as you again great for interaction. The only problem I do have is the travel bag, the fabric is not durable enough to travel with (I had 2) and both ripped first use flying, you can blame it on the airline but either way it should be able to last more than 1 plane flight. The nappy bag doesn’t really have a neat place to hang, due to the position of the chair. Also (not a major problem) size of your car boot and the amount of groceries your going to buy with the pram in the boot can be an issue. The biggest annoyance with the pram that you have to learn to ignore the stares, open comments ((isn't that a high tech pram) I swear every outing at least 5 times) and the countless people stopping you asking you about the pram. Trust me it will drive you CRAZY!!!Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

I love this pram - can't wait for bub to be a little older so she can appreciate it as much as her dad and I do.
This pram is light, easy to push and as it is skinnier then most other prams on the market you often don't get caught bumping into things - it's amazing how much of a difference that makes. Also as bub is at eye/table level they don't always want or need to be on your lap as they can interact on their own just fine - I LOVE this pram.
Not a dislike however it doesn't cater for a 2nd child - but then not all prams do. Accessories are expensive (so is the pram) but you can get shipped from overseas which makes it more cost effective :)

I've had the same problem recur 3x - screws in the base near rear wheels fall out. Each time the pram has been fixed and the third time when I asked for the clearly faulty part to be replaced they said this was a problem with earlier models and that they'd replaced the screws with longer screws this time but would not replace the part until it happened again (if it does). Fingers crossed it didn't as the repair process is a pain - have to be without pram for several days and drop it off and pick it up at Mascot. Pram's great as long as you don't get a faulty one.

Would definately reccommend the xplory. Easy to manouver, very stable, great for baby to interact with the world rather than staring at legs.
Really hits home how great it is to have bubs up high when during walks in another stroller pollen and leaves from the ground blow into the seat and on the face. Also keeps them away from curious dogs etc so its great for children with allergies.
easy to open and close once you get the hang of it but it will not be suitable for those with small cars as it does take up alot of room in the boot.
baby high up, adjustable, stable, great handling
