Alisonasked
Hi there, I would like to know if someone with a severe scoliosis and hip replacement would benefit from a Vibration Slim Machine ? My exercise physio did no recommend it for me.

I am not a medical person nor am I qualified to give you an informed professional opinion based on your question. Also I do not have severe scoliosis nor have had a hip replacement. What I can tell you that in my own experience that the nature of the vibrations in using this machine are such that they quite pronounced particularly on the higher settings so there may be a reason that such vibrations could be quite problematic for you specifically I am "guessing" with the hip replacement and even more so if you have scoliosis....If it were me and if I thought my spine was at risk....I would not use it.....that is my opinion. I would heed the medical advice. I use the machine for my circulation in my legs which was validated by my Podiatrist and for weight loss as it is prescribed. Hope this helps you.....
Vitality L.VibroSlim
Hi Alison, thank you for your question. If you have been advised by a medical professional not to use it then we also advise against using a VibroSlim vibration machine. We always recommend medical clearance prior to starting vibration training. We hope you find a suitable exercise to help you alleviate your conditions soon. Kind regards, VibroSlim
Sally Vasked
Hi, Which of your models are the most suitable for weak knees?
1 answer
Vitality L.VibroSlim
Hi Sally, thank you for your question. We believe the 'oscillating' vibration machine would be the best type of machine for you, whcih is the 'up/down' or see-saw' movement. You can use this on a lower setting, or by putting your feet on the machine whilst seated to build strength before increasing time and speed as you feel more comfortable. All of our models offer oscillating vibration mode. Both the VibroSlim Ultra and Ultra Pro models only offer this mode, and the Radial offers 3 vibration modes (up/down, side/side, left/right) so you have the option to choose. Please see all information here: http://www.vitality4life.com.au/fitness-equipment/vibration-machines/. If you have any further queries please feel free to give us a call on 1800 802 924. Kind regards, VibroSlim
