Stale and Old
Usually I buy local freshly roasted beans. Unfortunately I had to get some from coles the other day. I bought a bag of these and it’s disgusting. Dried out and no oils.
I had to turn the grind on my grinder down to 6 and only just scraping a 7 bar pour. Usually a grind of 11-12 will get me a good 9-9.5 bar pour.
Sour- bitter - no crema. Never again

Best coffee
I've tried all the Vittoria blends and in a lot of cafe's in Melbourne, which to be honest range for ok to very poor. BUT there is one cafe in Hawthorn called Bar Ristretto, 87 Burwood Rd, which makes not only a superb coffee but brings out something in the Vittoria coffee range that nobody else seems to be able to achieve. Try this hidden secret before discovery dilutes its uniqueness.........
Consistently excellent
Can get very busy during coffee rush hour, come early
