Works on only certain types of muscle injuries.
Had 2 types of tennis injuries. Voltaren worked on one, but didn't work on the other.
Hurt my muscles near my ribs, commonly known as intercostal injury from over swinging, Voltaren gel did nothing for it.
Then hurt muscles near elbow, aka tennis elbow. Voltaren gel gave me instant 100% relief but only for about 15 mins. Afterwards it's about 60% relief for 2hrs. Let's me sleep at least.
You just got to be lucky if it works for your type of injury.

Hi Emma, I have used this and I did not find any burning at all only warming hope this helps
doesnt burn but I have found a simple shoulder exercise that works better so dont use it anymore for my shoulder
No burning, just a pleasant warming sensation. Just ineffective!
