The Only sunscreen that doesn't irritate my very sensitive skin!

published

I have very sensitive, dry skin together with eczema and I am so happy to have found this sunscreen! I have nothing but praise for Wotnot, it does what it says it does as i have not had any sunburn with it and i don't get that "fried" skin feeling after being out in the sun for a few hours. The biggest tick for me is that it is non-irritating. My young son also uses it and it is perfect for him. It has a thick texture which is great for dry skin.
I have read a review that says it stains their clothing, this is false in my use with it.
Thank you Wotnot!

Waxy, oily mess

published

I live in the tropics and have tried many different sunscreens, this is by far the worst I have tried. If there had been a tester in store I would have never purchased it. It is waxy, oily and smells bad. May be useful in cold climates.

Offers such limited uv protection. This product is not worth your consideration.

published

I feel this sun block provides the poorest protection against uv exposure of anything I have ever used. Honestly I was skeptical of this product to begin with so I reapplied it thickly and excessively frequently. I experienced the only sun burn I have had in my life while using this product, that's 27 Australian summers without sun burn! This product ended that healthy sun smart run. You would have to be a complete psychopath to use this on your kids!! Just go with banana boat or cancer council for proper sun protection.

Way too oily for my liking

published

Was recommended by a friend but found it to be way too oily. Certainly not something you could under make up. Having said that, it certainly does the job and I didn't get burnt.

Tried - Too Oily

published

I agree this product is way too oily.
They have done well with the ingredients - but the feel and smell just isn't quite right.

The only other comment I have is that its quite coincidental how all the 5 star reviews are from accounts that have only been set up the day they reviewed this product and they have never reviewed another product.. mmm makes you wonder.

Best sunblock

published

I love wot not sunscreen. My daughter is pale and has never been sun burnt and this is all we use from birth. Also the only sunblock that does not give her a rash. It is greasy but if you use it sparingly it absorbs in the skin and is moisturising.

Sunburn in record time

published

Worst sunscreen I have ever used. I slather my child in sunscreen before we leave the house, when I tried this brand my daughter was burnt within 20 mins. Will never use this product again, it just doesn't protect against harsh Australian sun.

Yuck!

published

I really really want to like physical sunscreens- but alas, I hate them. I am kind of baffled by the good reviews on the internet for this product. The look/feel of this product is akin to bending down and dipping your face into a pot of oil. I thought I could counter the oil by putting some powder on top- wrong. My powder some how congealed with the sunscreen to form a heavy film and almost saturated my powder brush in the process.

Oily and smelly!

published

My husband uses this on his face and he hates it! I can tell by the oiliness of it when he puts it on that I couldn't stand it so haven't tried... He's allergic to others so has to persist with it. The greasy cream gets all over the tube too... Ugh! It's not waterproof either so another downside... AND expensive!

Great natural protection

published

This is a great natural sunscreen. I love that it is easy to apply and it doesn't leave any white residual on my skin( my skin is quite fair though, not sure how will it look on the darker skin). It also has great moisturising properties. At first I didn't like its' smell, but it is not too strong and I stopped noticing it after some time. It does leave your face very shiny, so would suggest to apply some powder on top:) It is quite expensive, but it lasts longer than other natural sunscreens, for example Invisible Zinc. Will definitely buy it again!
Easy to apply, moisturising, natural

Too smelly and oily

published

Let it first be said that the sunscreen does the job - I have fair skin and did not get burned after several hours in the midday sun.
Having said that I won't be buying it again, it's simply too oily and has an unpleasant smell that lingers. The sunscreen is fairly thick so not that easy to apply. I didn't find that my skin absorbed the sunscreen at all, so I had a very shiny/oily sheen the whole day and took a shower first thing when I got home as I felt very sticky, even after 5+ hours of applying the sunscreen.
So the hunt is still on for an all natural/no nasties sunscreen, that not only does the job but also doesn't have a strong smell or is oily.

The best sunscreen I have found!!

published

I am so happy with my Wotnot sunscreen, it is the best natural sunscreen around and I have tried many. I feel happy using it on my children knowing that it is 100% natural and safe. I recommend it to all of my friends! I also use the Wotnot Baby Wipes which are the best wipes I have ever used and the bonus is that they contain no chemicals and are biodegradable.
Great coverage, natural, no chemicals,no nano particles
Could do with a bigger tube-maybe pump action

I also found it Wotnot suncream to be quite greasy. I can't use it on my face, it is just too oily. I'm now putting it on my decolletage and neck with face powder or bronzer overlaid to stop my hair sticking to it.
