No refund company if goods faulty
Purchased a painting kit & it fell apart when I first used it 4 months from being purchased. Tried to get a refund & their reply didn’t make much sense, & I quote “the product has been used since 4 months. We don’t have guarantee in that case”
So be warned it may look good in their advert but it lasts about 5 minutes.

What a load of bull!!!
Bought an iPhone 6s for a decent sum the first day worked fine then stopped picking up service continuously said searching so chewed through battery wouldn’t read any SIM card put in mucked around with settings no luck.
Returned the phone to be fixed or refunded they returned it with an email saying it was bent so warranty did not stand which was bull as I never left the house with it am thinking they have damaged to get out of refunding.
Same thing happened when returned worked for a day now searching for service and no reply from 1day ... thanks 1day 700$$ wasted.

Don't buy an iPhone offline.
I had a bad experience with buying a refurbished iPhone off 1-Day. After 3 weeks the phone would not charge so I sent it back and they said they would send me a phone in the next 3 weeks. I waited 3 weeks and they did not send one so I contacted them. They had none in stock.. so I received a refund. I shouldn't have had to contact them and should have been kept in contact with about my problem.

Dont buy a refurbished phone
Brought a samsung refurbished phone for $399. After 5 months the screen was coming away from the phone. They sent me a new one after returning my son's one to them. The same thing has happened 7 months later with this new one and now it is out of warranty (its been over a year since the original purchase)

Dodgy computer / bad customer service
I recently purchased a 'refurbished' computer from 1 day sale. When the old used PC turned up after a month it was damaged and clearly not 'refurbished' as claimed when I purchased it. I immediately contacted customer service to organise a return. After a few days I was told to send them pictures. I did this then after a few more days I was told to return the item. I continued to request information on my refund but was told the PC was in transit.. To cut a long story short, it has now been two months and I have still not been refunded. Please beware that these guys are also located in NZ and as such they avoid Australia's rigorous fair trading and Australian Consumer Law guarantees.
AVOID THIS COMPANY!!!

Fasle advertising!
I bought a Samsung galaxy s5- which as shown on the advertisement was a genuine one with 'Samsung' on the front like all Samsungs do. I received a phone with no signs of it being a genuine Samsung- along with Chinese instructions etc written on the inside of the cover. Also, was advertised as brand new, but had several Vietnamese entries into the Calendar- which I cannot delete! I have emailed several times, they keep saying there's no records of me emailing etc and its been going on for months. I would NOT recommend.

Worst customer service
Bought a refurb iphone 5S 8 weeks ago. It arrived in 8 days, as per their delivery times, but immediately showed to be faulty. So, we went through the proper channels to have it fixed or refunded. 6 weeks later and I'm still waiting. No one at the customer service centre will speak to me. I've asked to be called a number of times. Every email I get, and every person I "speak" to on the live chat is different so you never deal with the same person more than once. None of them know what the hell is going on. Worst customer service I have ever encountered.

Selling products illegally!
I have purchased a few items from them and found the delivery times good if the products a little variable in quality. What concerns me most is over the past few months there are selling products illegally. As follows:
Radar detectors. While these are legal in NZ (where they are based) and can be imported into Australia it is illegal in all Australian states (except WA) to use one. In some states it is illegal be in possession of one. There was no warning to purchasers on their Australian website of this.
E-cigarettes (non-nicotine). Rece...Read more
ntly they were selling these with statements that they were an aid to smoking cessation. In both Aust and NZ it is illegal to sell any e-cigarette (containing nicotine or not) with a claim that it is an aid to quit smoking. It is illegal in Australia to import any making such a claim. Will not be purchasing from them again.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!
Don't Use This Website!!
I recently ordered from 1-Day. I was told that I would receive my delivery in 7-10 days. It's been weeks and the product hasn't been delivered. I've tried contacting the company several times and they have not been helpful. I will never use them again. They also have a 'no returns' policy. You have been warned.

Don't trust them
After successfully purchasing 15+ items from them, I thought I was a 'valued customer'. But in the last several months, their service has taken a bad turn (as supported by other people's comments). Products are taking many weeks to be delivered, communication / customer service is appalling, and I'VE HAD A PRODUCT NOT BE DELIVERED! I followed up repeatedly through their customer service email with no success. This company is not to be trusted.
looks cheep
items not always delivered, customer service very bad

1-day.com.au is the worst online sale company EVER!
Yes I know they advertise their delivery times but they take so much longer than any other site to deliver. AND the delivery times don't include the time it takes them to process and get the order together!
I had one product I purchased and 2 weeks later they emailed me to apologies that the supplier hadn't delivered then the product and therefore the money was being refunded to me... Firstly they were selling something they didn't even have in stock and secondly they emailed me and 100+ other customers at the same time with everyone's emai...Read more
l addresses in the To Field so you could see everyone's (random people's) email address. SO unprofessional! I just went to purchase some other goods from them in the size I wanted, on checkout the goods were $0 and wouldn't process. If I chose a different size it was fine and the price came up and all good. so I emailed them. they replied 2 minutes prior to the close of the sale and said "apologies. It was a technical error and the error had now been fixed". This was 18 hours after I emailed them. As I wanted the goods I just purchased the size down and hope they would fit. After getting their email back and not having time to now purchase the correct size I emailed them and asked them to swap my order to the larger size. They cam back and said "sorry the sale has closed and the goods are all sold". how can the good be sold if they already admitted there was an error with the sale and no one could choose the specific size as it was only fixed 2 minutes prior to the closure of the sale? Now i know that I purchased the other size and they don't have to swap anything as I purchased it. But you would think that it is good customer service to apologies and say "Let's fix that up for you as it was our error". It is almost like it is some kind of backyard business. No professionalism or ability to manage clients in a timely fashion!Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Buyer Beware (long winded review)
When this site started it was brilliant, simple to navigate, quick handling turnaround and delivery, great products which were often "closeout" deals from local (NZ?) suppliers with honest original retail prices quoted, telephone customer service and you could exchange products that were incorrect. Also the products had a discussion system which allowed open discussions and a social interaction.
Then things changed. The exchange policy went, then the products became mostly imported poor quality tat, the RRP became a "suggested" price which o...Read more
ften seemed crazily excessive. The telephone support vanished then the discussions option was changed to a Q n A function which I interpret as ask a question and they'll only reply if it's super easy to answer. Then the product descriptions became vaguer and vaguer, often omitting important details or being directly copied from the suppliers (Alibaba?) websites or product briefs, often complete with invalid characters not compatible with their site. SRP often became "other brands seen for" which was basically saying that an Audi costs $80k, but today "save $XY.ZZ now!!!" a basic model Hyundai which is comparable as it is also a car. Then they started getting drop-shipped products and there were often stretching the "14 days" delivery time. I've also seen them selling say 3 generation old products at a higher price than the 2 generation old ones sell for directly to public so it pays to do your homework when you see the "deal". A positive note though, they seem to be getting more branded products again just recently. I have bought the following off them. Pioneer HT Amplifier. (2010) No issues, had the item in about 3 days. Still use it to this day.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Took my money but won't deliver.
I bought and paid for an iphone on 1-day 3 weeks ago. They sent me an email a few days later saying that it had neen sent. I didn't receive it so I contacted them and obtained a tracking number. I made some enquiries with Australia post. The item hasn't even been given to them to deliver. I can't get a straight answer from anyone as to when I'll get it. They won't give me a refund either.
They treat you like a fool when you try to find out where your item is.

Be cautious with this crowd
Ordered and paid for a product, got an email four weeks later saying it had been "dispatched". Checked the Australia Post tracking site a week later - order is still showing as "Manifested" meaning it hasn't actually been sent. A week later - same status. Contacted the seller online to hear that "they had been having some problems with Australia Post deliveries" - it would appear however that they don't actually have the products they're selling at the time of offering them for sale, and in this case (six weeks after ordering) they still don't ...Read more
have the items, and possibly never will. And they weren't really interested in solving the problem - no suggestions offered nor a resolution time. Be very cautious dealing with this crowd! Some attractive bargains, but as the old adage goes - "If it looks too good to be true, it probably is". Products offered for sale don't seem to exist! Very poor after sales service too.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Took my money and gave me nothing.
I do not recommend doing business with this organisation. I ordered a refurbed iPhone 3GS from them, and was promised 10 working day delivery. They took my money, and then 2 and half weeks later emailed me saying they "unintentionally oversold this product" and would be unable to supply me. Yet the same day they sent the email, they were selling the product again on their site! I repeat, they were unable to supply me with a product that they were still actively selling to others on their site. They've promised me a refund but I haven't received it at time of writing. Dodgy, dodgy, dodgy. Avoid them like the plague.

Best site ever!
I have never had a problem with this site. I order from them regularly, they are always prompt and on time with all my orders (I live in rural WA). The postage is cheap enough, the products are great. They have friendly staff and are very helpful. Thanks 1-Day! Keep up the great work.

Hit and Miss
I have bought a number of items with 1 day and I find them to be a bit 'hit and miss'. Some items have been gr8 value for money and good quality....others, not so. i now shop with caution .... last time I bought 4 memory foam pillows...thought they were a gr8 price so decided to buy one for each person in the family. As it turns out, not such a bargain after all. The dimensions of the pillow were on the site, however I assumed (my fault) that they were standard size, not! These pillows were the smaller than a child's cot pillow - I have no...Read more
pillow cases that will fit and they are not even comfortable to rest your head on them. Even my kids found them far too firm to use. I enquired about a refund, but was told that they don't refund for 'change of mind!', which this wasn't. Another time I bought some pool toys - all had holes in them, but I was given a partial refund on the unused items only (after numerous photos as proof were sent). I bought my husband 2 jackets - gr8 value - checked the sizing and ended up purchasing both in the same size - 1 is a gr8 comfy fit - with room to move, the other, again gr8 value and very pleased with jacket, but this was too small - he can wear, but can't do up the zip! Just a case of buyer beware here, to return this would have meant a total of $30 in shipping fees, which then made this jacket the same price as in store (and I couldnt' be sure they had any availble anyway) I love online shopping and it will always have it's place in my world, but I am slowly learning.... sometimes you just need to shop in store or at the very least, when purchasing expensive items or things you are particular about, do so from a site that has physical stores to negotiate with if there is a problem - it may cost a few bucks more but at least you know what you are getting. cheap, some good bargains returns difficult & slow to process. difficult to obtain refunds, you will still be out of pocket for shipping even if they are at fault.Similar opinion? Great Site - Good Bargains
Have purchased numerous items from this site over the past year.
They have good variety of items for sale. Their sister site
1-daytee.com.au is also pretty good.
The shipping and handling is quite fast. You normally receive your item within a week.
I would highly recommend this site.
