The solution for cleaning rangehood filters
Spray it on the dry filter webbing. Use a toothbrush to work in and work off the grime. Wash off in hot dishwashing liquid. The result is clean and uniform looking rangehood filters with no dark splotches or damaged webbing. (What are those Youtube videos saying to soak them in the bathtub with dishwashing liquid or bicarb soda etc!!?? That didn't work for me. Use a product meant for the job and it's obscenely easy).

Nothing compares
I've been using it for years on my stainless steel BBQ. The first time I used it I couldn't believe my eyes - stubborn grease simply melts away! The first time it took two bottles to get through the years of build up (4-5 applications) but subsequently, probably once every 3 months, it's less than half a bottle and 10-15 minute job. Simply perfect.

Best Stainless steal cleaner we have used.
3M Stainless Steel Cleaner and Polisher is only about $6 a tin from Bunnings. It's an easy wipe on wipe off foam that leaves a thin invisible and non greasy film that lasts/protects for ages. It long prevented tea stains on our older stainless steel Webber BBQ which was left outdoors for years. We use this on both outrstainless steel BBQ and pizza oven; it is not effected by heat.

The ultimate in Stainless Polishing
This is the best product by far for stainless products. I use it on my microwave, fridge, oven (outside is ss) stove top (edges are ss)it seems to prevent anything I have from rusting including my salt and pepper grinders (wich are both ss) I just used it to shine up all my light fittings and ceiling fans and they all look brand new again. I clean by trade and this is the only product I will ever use. It's easy to apply and shine up with paper towel so no fuss cleaning evertime. Love it.
everthing, Prevents fingerprints for a while and prevents rust
can't find anything wrong at all

baby oil does the same job on all stainless steel, just apply a small amount and polish off with paper towel.
I buy it from Bunnings as it is hard to find in the supermarkets. It must be applied regularly and after every clean for effective results. yes I use baby oil on commercial new build jobs also as it's more cost effective.

Hi, what did you use to remove the tea stains? I tried to use the 3M on some new tea stains on my satin finished stainless steel rails (outdoor) but I couldn't remove them. The rails were installed just 1 week ago. Thanks for your advice.

Hi Sue, that's a tough one as tea stains are stubborn and the answer is tricky as it all depends on the type of stainless as some have coatings. To shorten it for you I will say always test a method and product on an unseen part first and wait till it dries to see what happens. I remove tea stains with either bery all amount of bleach or Jif if really needed BUT that always depends on the type of stainless so test on an unseen bit first. If I'm really scared of the type of stainless I will test a small amount of any quality car polish (one that is white not clear) and use that, and you can do the whole balustrade if it gets lots of stains. Try and avoid harsh chemicals and abrasives if you can and being outdoors you can also use baby oil to help seal it and prevent rust and stains. Oil is a stainless's best friend.
We have used the 3M Stainless cleaner from the get go and have never got tea stains. Sorry, but we've never had to remove tea stains.
