Is there an option to add a third child to this buggy?
Amy Wasked
We often go out as a family and each push a child. Does anyone know if there are any single bases that the abc zoom seats will fit on? Our house is over run with different pushchair for different occasions!

Hi Amy
Yes they have a single pram called a Salsa 3 which also fits the same seat. Ring Baby Train as they were really helpful.
Good luck!

Hi. We have the abc zoom for our 2 year old and 4 week son. When they are both on the pram the front wheels are reallt difficult to turn. I’ve checked the locks are off. Is anyone else having this problem?
Thanks Adam

Yes i am having this trouble and it is hard to push in shopping centres due to the shiny surface. I think it is a design flaw. When there is weight on the front wheels it is extremely hard to even push and turning is a nightmare! I really liked this pram!?
Same problem here. Just want to throw it in the bin.
I’m building a case against them would be happy to hear your stories

I would like to buy the ABC zoom double pram but as I don’t drive I have to rely on public transport, it is too big too enter a bus or a train?
(I live in Brisbane)
2 answers
Yes, the length doesn’t suit for most public transport. It is just too long to get in. I sometimes find my ABC Design zoom pram needs to stay diagonally in order to get into lifts as well. I use it for taking my twin boys for a walk and use the other smaller side-by-side stroller for taking public transport.
I actually bought it and I find it amazing for the public transports, its long but it’s easy to turn, it’s light and slim so I can get in the bus without any problem, I guess it mostly depends on how the bus or the train are designed, where I live there is a very big pram area on the left side of the bus and the ABC fits perfectly in there.
I have also a Mima Kobi but with that one to get in the Bus is a total nightmare, too large and too heavy .. so yes, the ABC zoom pretty much saved my life.

Can the pram lie down for newborn rather than sit up position?
2 answers
For newborns there is the bassinet. The seats are from 6 months.
We used the bassinet with our newborn, and then transferred her to the seat around 2-3 months. When she was first in the seat, we used it laying flat with the comfort seat insert to stop her sliding around, which worked very well.

Are the wheels air tires and do they have suspension? Thinking of selling my Joolz tandem pram to get one of these, but I love that the joolz pram is great for walking, running and minimises the bumps as it has large air tires.
1 answer
Yes for suspension! Excellent suspension, I've never seen or had one with better.
And I'm unsure about the tyres? The tyres are a little squishy when I push on them hard which (after owning and using the pram for over 12months now) would suggest they are, but they don't have abit sticking out- like a car or bike tyres, to pump it up and I've never pumped them up- but the husband might have done it and I just can't remember.
Also the front tyres can lock into a straight position, and due to loving fitness myself, I would jog with the pram (if I didn't also have a 3yo attached to my hip).
My boys love the pram and never complain while they are in it. and I've never had a problem with it. I would say half the compliments I get are 'gosh your busy' and the other half is about the pram. And then questions; where to buy it, how it works, if it's easy to steer.

Where can I purchase in WA? The website says it won't ship to Aus?!

Found one for you in WA:
Babyland
30 Frobisher Street
Osborne Park
WA 6017

[email protected]
I couldn't see them on the Babyland site you can also buy direct from abc-design.com.au. I am looking to buy one, too. Thanks :)
called all WA stockists no one sells it. However, I managed to purchase one online and get delivered from baby train, or you can get it from the official website.

Can you take one seat off and use it for one child? I am pregnant with my first and would like to buy a pram that will fit 2 kids for when we have our second.
3 answers
Yes! :)
Sure can, the pram comes in 3 peices so u have the base and the two seats (or capsules if u get them). The base is indepenadant of the seats so if u wanted to you could have no seats, 1 or 2. It won't affect the functionality of the base.
Does anyone have a pic of what it would look like with just one seat or one bassinet?
Debbieasked
My daughter bought one of these. She was wondering if she can put newborns into the seats without capsule or bassinet .Is that safe?
3 answers
Apparently it is not recomended from birth in Australia as the seats do not recline fully flat. in saying that I've had my preemie twin boys in them from when they were approx 4pounds. I bought head rests to put in to limit head moment and also ones for their car seats as they were little babies.
Thankyou for your helpful comment
I have used the seat with my newborn now 5 weeks and purchased an uppababy seat insert. It flattens out the base and was recommend by baby train. They were very helpful.

What capsule (car seat fits on pram)?
Sydney Mumasked
How do owners of his pram find the seat height for an older child? My first will be almost 2.5yrs when next bub is born and he's already on the taller side currently, outgrowing his mt buggy terrain. I can't find a local
Stockist in the NB so I'll have to chance it and I'm worried! Help!
1 answer
If you email them online they will be more than helpful with this question. I have the seats not the capsules and as long as ur child's back is below 50cms they should fit. (I measured the back of the seat from the top to the seat). Otherswise email Nadine (most helpful sales person ever!) and ask her about the compatible toddler seats and toddler stands :)

Hi,
I'm looking at purchasing the Zoom from Germany so I can get the Graphite Grey colour - is anyone able to tell me if the overseas version is any different than the Australian?
Would I still be able to purchase accessories that fit from Australian suppliers, or would I have to order from overseas as well?
Does the canopy have a zip out sunshade like the YouTube videos show, because I can't see the zipper on the grey hood in any pics.
Also does anyone know what I can expect to pay for shipping costs?
Thanks to anyone who can help!
3 answers
I bought it from prams.net in the graphite and it was cheaper than the Australian one!!
The accessories from the Aus supplier fit and it's gorgeous!!
Hi Fiona,
Thanks so much for your reply! Does your graphite grey canopy have the zipper along the top that allows you to pull down a built in sunshade that extends down quite far?
Hi Fiona, did you also buy the Carrycots from prams.net? If so, do you need to purchase a special attachment for them as well? and did you get it from prams.net? Thanks, Amy

Hi all,
I have a few qtns about this pram if anyone is able to answer them.
1. Does it have mesh for ventilation in the canopy on either the bassinets or the seats? It looks like clear plastic on the YouTube videos.
2. Is the peek a boo window a magnetic or velcro closure?
3. Are the bassinets approved for overnight sleeping?
4. To use the bassinets do you have to use/disassemble any part of the seat frame or canopy?
5. Is there a bug cover available for purchase or just the rain cover?
Thank you!
2 answers
1) No
2) I don't understand, what you mean.
3) Sorry, I don't understand what you ask))
4) You just press two buttons by both sides and you can withdraw bassinets.
5) Just the rain cover.
5. The bassinets have a big cover :)

I read a review that said it's best to use only in double mode and you wouldn't really switch between single and double mode. This sounds a bit disappointing to me. Do other reviewers here agree with this statement?
Ginaasked
Do both these seats recline at the same time if both children need to sleep? Is it squashy if so? Is there a Sydney stockist?
1 answer
Yes, both recline at the same time. We had the seats and the bassinets, so they could sleep comfortably from day one. We purchased from Germany online www.kidsroom.de as at the time it was better value for money and we could select from a wider range of colours than available in Australia. Not sure if you have seen it, but there is a good clip on YouTube loaded by thinkprams.com.au, it gives you a good idea of size and space
Simone Peckmanasked
Does anyone know if you can put capsules on it???
2 answers
Hi I had the bassinet but not sure if you an out a car capsule on it. However if you can't find the answer on the internet give Baby Train a call they were one of first to bring it into Australia so they would definitely know. How that helps
Yes, they have a maxi cosi adapter.

Does anyone had an experience with this twin stroller in snow? is it easy to move with it ?

Hi there, we've never taken it near snow before, but it's really good on dirt paths if that helps.
