Gessi Just Questions & Answers
I have Gessi Goccia tap model 33601 and 33602. The taps are only 3 years old. I can't believe they are leaking for the price they cost.
I have ordered new cartridges at a cost of $225.00 per cartridge. I can't see how to change the cartridge. The diagram states there is a groove on the top plate, however, I can't see a grove. How do I remove the top of the tapware to get to the cartridge.
My Gessi kitchen swivel mixer tap.The whole body of the tap is always warm.Warm water comes out the cold for the first 10 seconds. This also seems to be confusing my central heating boiler. Any ideas?
I have a Gessi bath faucet "Rettangolo". The water is coming out slowly. I removed the aerator and cleaned it. However, there is a second filter further in. How can I remove it to clean it? That's the problem!
my gesi just tap is leaking from the on and off area how do i remove that part and replace the seals?
Blue led light working sporadically. Any way to fix this?
Hi Joan A, this was over 10 years ago when i had this issue. Dont know even if the company is still making them best to contact where you bought from and see if there is a warranty or how much for a service technician to go out and fix.
Hi Joan, we had this tap in our last house, we went through about 5 replacement led's and eventually gave up. Need to contact your supplier and they will send a technician out to fix it.
We bought the house with the tap and it worked perfectly for 6 months
Like others, we had about 3 replacements within the 5year warranty period. The last one lasted for about 3years by which time we were out of warranty. Now only the red light works when the water is hot. Can you believe a replacement LED part for the tap is 338 GB Pounds. Unbelievable and a complete rip off for what is clearly a design flaw. Added to this, Gessi's UK service centre is utter rubbish, never answer the phone or emails.
Thanks for advice. Shame the product is not as reliable as one would like. An expensive novelty item!
Gessi kitchen mixer tap wont turn to the right all of a sudden - around 10years old. Can it be repaired?
My Gessi Just Light Mixer tap needs a new filter as water is spurting out everywhere. where can I buy a new filter?
Have you removed the filter and checked it for blockage? The cable to the light on the end in some versions starts to deteriorate and block the filter causing what you are experiencing. You can remove it and clean the bits out of the filter with a small needle. The reason I mention this is because if your cable is deteriorating, then it will need replacing as well - and that is an EXPENSIVE spare part!!! The only place you can get a filter and/ or cable is from the importer of the tap - unless you know someone in the UK who can get them for you. The Australian importer is Abey - www.abey.com.au - send them a technical request. But check the filter first!!!
Hi there my Just Gessi sink tap with light is popping out and the color only comes on now n then. It is 5 yrs old and we paid ALot of money for this can anyone help on how to fix? Thank you
Hi, unfortunately, the only way this can be fixed is for the manufacturer to replace the lighting system. This is a VERY VERY common problem. The tap is a great concept, but flawed in manufacture. I'm not sure what warranty yours came with, but that is the only path. I've had 2 replacements and the latest one has done exactly what yours is doing. Right now its working, but tomorrow is another story. I've looked for replacement thermosensitive LEDS, but to no avail. You may also find that the reason the LED is popping out is because the filter on the end of the tap is clogged with particles from the insulation on the wiring. Undo the filter at the end of the hose and have a look. I'm at the end of my rope with this tap!! Abey Australia is the importer - you could try them for a replacement if you still have a proof of purchase. Otherwise, try their goodwill. I've even written to Gessi in Italy with no success. Get the word out - this is a rubbish tap!!!
Thanks yes I have been in contact and I’m outside the warranty period the kit is over $1200! So I’ve decided to find another tap without a led. Won’t be fixing and won’t buy another. Thank you for your response!
I'm having trouble with a wall mounted bathroom faucets. There are 4 only one works. Everytime I push the other 3 spouts in the second gasket breaks. I've cleaned and greased them. The owner even ordered extra gaskets and they do the same thing. Please help?
Our plumber has tried to install gessi just sink mixer - not the led light one - and no water coming through. Any thoughts?
Hi,
I'm sorry I can't help you with that.
Our installer had no issues with the tap and we never had any issues with water flow.
I understand it was a straight forward install with ours.
Regards,
Adrian
We've had exactly the same problem. The water flows for a time and then stops completely The only way to get it restarted is to undo the tap and blow or suck it at the end to get the water flowing. Not exactly a sustainable solution.
Could you please confirm that the problems were not just with the LED mechanisms but the normal tap functions as well.
Hi Warren, the actual tap functions are perfect. (Extension of nozzle, swivel of tap etc) No issues with this. It is however the LED lights that change colour with the temperature always fail and do not work. This is the main feature of the tap and this is where the problem is.
