Horizontal lines 29 months after purchase date
Bauhn ATV58UHDG (58" QLED, Mar 2020, Jan 2021)I have bought several TVs from Aldi and none of them failed even after 14 years of use. But this Qled 58" TV we bought the 23rd of January 2021 now has some horizontal white flickering lines just after turning on the TV which disappear after about a minute but reappear after about 2 hours of being on. So it lasted 29 months until this problem arose.

Super disappointed
Bauhn ATV58UHDG (58" QLED, Mar 2020, Jan 2021)TV worked fine for 18 months. Then we got horizontal lines across the whole screen. Making it impossible to watch. Only comes with a 12 month warranty. Contacted the company and they basically said bad luck it’s out of warranty. Won’t buy again!

Total Screen failure after 18mths - send to tip...

This 58 inch QLED model gave a good picture and went well...for 18 months, then the screen failed totally, with all vertical white/blackish lines. The warrenty is 12 months!!! I went through the process of calling the Tempo 1300 number (yes almost unitelligible voice quality) and was told the warrenty was 12mths (so forget it, buy another TV!!!) Our other Bauhn TVs are all LED and have not had a problem. I calculate that (at about$600 purchase price) this TV has cost us about $35/month (at 18 mths useage). We have just ordered a Hisense 65 QLED for about $1300 with a 3 year warrenty. If we only get the 3 years, this will be about the same price per month for a 65. Avoid Bauhn QLED TVs.

Bauhn ATV58UHDG (58" QLED, Mar 2020, Jan 2021)Whilst I appreciate this tv is sold with a 12 month warranty only, I find it appalling that the tv and its remote control become so operationally degraded within 18 months of the purchase date that I have to spend more time trying to make the tv and remote work, than time spent actually watching the tv. Upon ringing the 1300 002 534 assistance phone number, the customer service officer was so badly muffled and the line so broken that I couldn’t have a conversation with him/her to make a query as to my rights regarding this product. Got a reply that the fault occurred too far beyond warranty. So 2 months after warranty is too long. In that case any Aldi store is too expensive for me or my family to dare enter.

Loosing channels, not enough storage space
Bauhn ATV58UHDG (58" QLED, Mar 2020, Jan 2021)Not enough storage space can't download anymore apps or up date them, I had to get an Apple box so I can watch KAYO sport and other apps. I only have the apps it came with plus: Prime, 7+, 9Now, 10PLAY, SBS on DEMAN?. The Freeview menu was 12 hours behind and now charged to 2 hours behind. I loose channel 7 nearly every week and have to retune it in. The internet circle goes around and around in the middle of tv nearly everyday and is very hard to get rid off, not sure if that my internet or the T.V? Picture is OK just can't what it from the side. Connection points are very hard to access and see.

Defective in 15 months! Displaying stripes.
Bauhn ATV58UHDG (58" QLED, Mar 2020, Jan 2021)Happy with the Android TV functions, although a bit slow to respond. Happy with the QLED vision but sound is very poor. Used a sound bar, so sound did not impact me.
Provides only 12 months warranty. Only lasted 15 months with minimal usage. I have never had a TV that hasn't lasted 5 years, so very disappointed. I would expect a 3 year warranty like most other TV's in this price range, TLC etc., and that it would last at least 3years.

Remote stopped working

Not Ok, even for that price
Bauhn ATV58UHDG (58" QLED, Mar 2020, Jan 2021)I'll try and keep it short. Here is what is great about this TV:
- The picture quality can be absolutely great BUT you must feed it a high definition signal. I hardly ever watch commercial TV and almost exclusively use this TV to watch streaming services. If your streaming service provides an Ultra HD feed (you may need a premium account for that), this TV's picture quality is fantastic.
- Great picture quality if you connect a PC to the TV via an HDMI cable. Truly amazing.
- The built in Chromecast is a great feature.
- Android TV as the oper

Bauhn ATV58UHDG (58" QLED, Mar 2020, Jan 2021)Just over the 12month warranty and tv is glitchy. Will turn on, can't change tv station or to Netflix/YouTube. Tv will go from being on with sound and picture to a grey/black screen with sound then 30seconds later to just a grey/black screen. Aldo won't do anything as it has just passed the warranty period. $800 and expected it to work for longer than that..
Prior to glitching, we had no real issues with the tv

It was great for the week it worked though.

First issue HDMI functions started to flicker, not related to 4G mobile towers, I have a filter on the Digital TV amp, disconnected antenna, turned of lights and any othe possible source of interference. Still flickering, more frequently as time went on. Then full screen white out. Back to Free to Air viewing, all fine, images are good to very good on Digital. Next day showing visiting family the HDMI issues, now problems on web based services, coloured grid patterns, freezing on screen on FTA and web TV channels. Back to ALDI for a full refund no questions asked.

I've purchase this 58" smart Ultra HD 4K TV 2 weeks ago, from Aldi store, at 82 Hoxton park road Liverpool.
I Open it last week, connecting everything, watching, TV everything were perfect, until yesterday,
when opening Netflix, or YouTube, or Prim view, etc, TV Screen started distorting, & disappearing, it play up bigtime..!! Now, more than ever, while trying to watch you tube, screen flickers, constantly..!!
This TV is 2 weeks old, with this condition, I need to return it to get another TV in a good working order, or get a refund..!!
Get a refund! There are serious quality control issues with this TV
My parents are having issues with theirs, bought from Aldi in January 2021 as well. The remote doesn't seem to be working. Doesn't seem to work with universal remotes either. Frustrating.
Hi there, as far as a remote control, mine was excellent, however, I kind of discovered, what was wrong with the picture flickering on YouTube or prime view etc, except TV itself was steady, no flickering at all. this was however, due to factory setting to 60MHz instead of 50MHz which we have on our electricity frequency.!! I couldn't find the way to set it to 50MHz AU Standard though.! love the TV but was a BIGG PITTY..!!
why wont my TV turn on? just took t out of the box and it's on stand-by and wont turn on
Can you see the power led light at the base of the screen. If not try another switch/socket on the wall. Also you can plug something else in the socket to ensure its not blown a fuse and then plug the tv into that same wall socket. If you are using an extension boards the sockets get loose inside so try another socket
