Worse cooktop I ever had.. It shattered last night while cooking.. Glass everywhere and it's only 8 months old!!!
Stirling 90cm Gas Glass Cooktop (Mar, Sep 2021)Worse cooktop I ever had.. It shattered while cooking.. Glass everywhere, I had to throw away all my food - It was a big pannick and everyone got really scared. Less than 12 months old!!!
ALDI MUST PULL out of stock IMMEDIATELY.

Stirling 90cm Gas Glass Cooktop (Mar, Sep 2021)Had it installed professionally 2 months ago. Had water coming to the boil and the whole thing shattered sending glass everywhere. No help via any contact numbers.

Stirling 90cm Gas Glass Cooktop (Mar, Sep 2021)we have used cheaper gas tops before in our previous home and it ended badly having to return it to our local hardware, so i was not expecting miracles from this $250 top, however i was really surprised at the quality, it really is a great top, lights perfectly and good control over the flame, we converted ours to lpg, everthings in the box and its an easy install (being qualifed of course) . if you are expecting the same as an $1100 bosch unity of course not, but its worth every bit of the 250 dollars and compared to the ones the local big name hardware sells its hands down streets above in quality, go for it highly recommend

Stirling 90cm Gas Glass Cooktop (Mar, Sep 2021)Of course I am loving it(atm) ! We had it installed last Sept(so not that long), it was a good upgrade to what we had originally. My husband was pessimistic about it because of it being from Aldi, but he had a change of heart and was really impressed with the wok burner. Compared to our old one which didn't have a double burner wok top. It heats up the wok quickly and retains the high temperature which makes stir frying much better. I like the glass top as it is easier to clean with a simple soapy sponge or wipes. Also the labels (flame guide)
... Read moreis underneath the glass so there is no way it will ever fade unlike the one which is just printed on top of stainless ones. The grill is cast iron and it's not that heavy but it is solid. If we decide to overhaul the kitchen later on, I won't feel bad as I didn't spend a fortune on this cooktop. Over all for $299,it is a very good buy! Let's see if it lasts at least 5 years! Haha fingers crossed!
