e. The rod is soft at the tip to help detect those bites however at the butt end, the rod has a lot of pulling power and this show's when the rod is fully loaded. The two piece design has no ill effect on the setup, but aids it with transportability and storage. All guides are under and over bound, guides now I believe are Fuji however on my rod were generic no name guides however they have stood the test of time, beach, surf and rock fishing!Similar opinion?
