I’ve put my order through on the 10/01/2020 (Friday), it’s been two days and the order is still processing. It’s very important that I get my books by the end of the week as they are for a birthday present. Could I please have help in figuring out how to ensure that I receive my order on time? I live in Melbourne (a metro area) and for both books I’ve ordered, it has said that shipping would take 2-4 days, so it should definitely be possible to receive the books on time. My order number is 09326144. Thank you.

In my experience, I received both email and text message with the delivery date the day prior to delivery. If you ordered Friday then I guess 2-4 days should mean you get your order Friday 17 or earlier.

I ordered an "in-stock" book via A&R on ebay on 10/12. It was never sent. I messaged via ebay on 14/12 and 16/12 - zero responses. I opened an ebay dispute on 17/12 - still awaiting a reply. I reached out via Twitter today 18/12, no response. I reached out via your web contact form - no response. I phoned your 1800 number this morning and spent 35min on hold with no response. I called again this afternoon - it's been 30min and I'm still "in the queue" with no response (let's be honest, no one answers the phones, do they). Why don't you just talk to your customers? What's the deal here? I want the book before Christmas and I've paid for the item and heard nothing - is this some sort of scam? Would really appreciate a reply!

Hi David,
Not sure why you decided to stop the mediation and communication with me yesterday. I asked to speak to a Manager but was ignored. My order number is 09204780. You said you would issue an immediate refund after the books I ordered on the 6 Mayember 2022 for a Christmas gift are no longer coming due to your supplier lying to your company about sending them, 6 weeks after I bought and paid for them.
No refund has come through and no emails from Angus and Robertson stating that the refund has been processed.
Could you look into this please?

David I am happy to hear that the books have arrived- for some reason I can't reply on my review page- it won't submit. I would much rather the books than a refund. Why is it that when Sarah below asks a question on a third party website you can reply within a couple of hours with a resolution? Meanwhile when customers call you wont answer and when I send you an online enquiry about my order you cant provide a response? I placed my order on 29 May and it was stated all items would be delivered in 2-4 days yet it is still processing. I had hoped for you to rectify this today and give some hope. Never have I been so utterly ripped off from an online shopping experience. My order number is 09248398, at this point I desperately want a refund. This afternoon I had to go to 3 different physical book stores to buy the items a second time to ensure my son doesnt go without on Christmas Day.

I also ordered books from A&R because of them claiming despatched in 24 to 48 hours and delivery in 2-4 days. I was cutting it fine ordering last Thursday hoping for delivery by this Friday. That was it. No communication. Emailed them today no answer. Will I receive the part of my order that was promised on time or not. Order number 09281070.

Becoming slightly concerned as I placed my order on the 5th of September - with it stating on the website it should take 2-4 business days overall for me to receive this order (I live in SA metro), and the status of the order is still 'processing'. I tried to call 3 separate times yesterday but each time was on hold for over 15 minutes and gave up each time as I didn't have enough time to sit and wait, as well as emailing them and have heard nothing. Any recommendations on what I should do? I need the book by the 25th of September as I am going away after and this is a present. Not impressed :(

Hi, I ordered a book for my husbands birthday. The delivery was speedy - buT the quality of the book is shocking. Impossible to read, rough cut. No warning of this in the description. Hi Maya,

Thanks for providing your order number! I've looked into it a little further and the book you purchased was actually printed with bevelled edge pages. Bevelled edge means that the edges of the pages are cut in a way to give them an older or historical look, it's an intentional design choice. I've updated the description so that this is more clear.
