No unless you open the door and just shut it again... it's there to let you know you still have food in your microwave
All modern microwaves do this not just anko ones they continue to be beep until you open the door ..I for one like the feature because I myself have left food in the microwave and forgotten about it..
It wont heat hate it Im returning it to the store I work full time haven't got time to baby sit an appliance just wont a normal microwave push start and it heats
Sucks especially if you're in lockdown. I bought mine here in NZ . Total lemon.
It is obviously faulty. I would return it to the store immediately.
Mine keeps saying fail on the screen and won’t let me push any buttons so have to turn it off on the wall pain in the bum
My microwave was just delivered after a lengthy wait. After using the microwave once I noticed the clear hard plastic film covering the inside glass has a crack in the centre. I didn't attempt to remove this as I thought it was a functional part of the product. Is this the case or should it have been removed? I'm not very happy because I waited a long time to receive it.
I'd return it. These microwaves are lemons. I bought mine last lockdown rang Kmart and they credited my account immediately.. I just bought a sharp microwave and grill from Brisco on Monday It arrived on Wednesday from Dunedin. Plus Brisco has a sale on at the moment.
This is definitely a faulty unit. Return to where you bought it.

Yes they are crap and I intentionally brought it knowing it would be crap I mean come on it's a $99 microwave how good could it be.. all you have to do is get the warranty out of it..keep your recept people..
Even though things are cheap they shouldn't develop such a glaring fault after 1 use. I bought a smaller but even cheaper microwave 9 years ago for $70 and I'm only just replaced it. I've returned it but definately think they should address these glaring issues.
How do I reset the time on my Anko microwave? I set it, it stays for a few seconds and then returns to 0000, It's as though the m/w computer is faulty since other buttons don't appear to work either.
Press the clock icon. Set the time and then press the clock icon again. That is definitely the way to do it as I have done that when the power has gone off. If the other buttons dont work then I would return it to Kmart immediately for a refund.
Plug in the microwave it says "1.00" but keeps counting and running. Wont stop cant select anything keeps making noise as if its cooking
Contact Kmart. It shouldn't run the fan when you first plug it in, others have reported the same issue. We just moved ours to its new permanent spot and didn't have any of those issues. You can always try pressing the cancel button, in case you pressed something accidentally?
I got this microwave like 2 weeks ago and from the time I started using it it fills with water and heaps of condensation which is not normal. Anyone else have this problem?

Please can you advice me on the defrost button, If I press defrost and then say 1 minute the contents will be really hot and not defrosted. It is as if I have set it to full power. Also if I want to change the power setting I press "power level" and it beeps twice, I then press a number (7 ) now press start, the microwave just counts down from set number (7) and beeps again to finish. If I press "power button" again while it is counting down it tells me it is on 100%. This microwave is driving me crazy.
